“As it is right now, we are having a very hard time at the border,” Garza explained in recognition of the massive numbers of Central American migrant families being apprehended by Border Patrol agents after illegally crossing the border from Mexico.
Faulkner reacted to Garza’s comment about the condition of the border. “You said, ‘We’ve lost control of the border,'” Faulkner challenged. “That is different from what reporting I’ve seen. What do you mean when you say you’ve ‘lost control?'”
“Our Border Patrol chief has mentioned that over 50 percent of our agents are not securing the border and they’re now actually processing, transporting, and carrying for some of these asylum seekers,” Garza explained. “But I would challenge that percentage. I would put that percentage somewhere in the range of 75 percent.”
“What we’re seeing is that we’re not securing the border,” he emphasized. “We’re not out there catching those drug seekers or those drug smugglers or human smugglers.:
Garza cited an example from his own Laredo Sector where agents assigned to an interior checkpoint discovered a tractor-trailer smuggling 120 migrants from five different countries. “We’re getting overrun at the border,” Agent Garza explained. “So yeah, we’ve lost control of the border, Harris.”

The feds job is stop invasion AT THE BORDER (U.S. Constitution, Art IV, Sec. 4). It is GOVERNMENT FAILURE not to do so. Private Americans and enterprise should not suffer the iron boot of unconstitutional government coercion because GOVERNMENT screws up.
Given that illegal immigration and immigration is invasion, given that the constitution MANDATES the feds PREVENT invasion, and given that Trump is Commander in Chief of our military, Trump has every legal ground to launch a full-scale military operation at the border to STOP INVASION.
Be a shame if illegals started disappearing, never to be seen or heard from again.
Back in March Trump said he’d close the southern border. He has already declared a national emergency so why not shut it down? Seems like the Mexican cartels control it now.
Our local paper has a big story today on how drug arrests are overwhelming our jail. Same paper that wants open borders and opposes the wall. These idiots never listen to themselves.

If angry people finally feel so betrayed that they give up on President Trump, then who would step in to stop the outright violence against the invaders to save our homes and businesses? Wild West without a sheriff like the old days in the 1880s. Romney and Weld can't do it.
The headlines "using planes to fly illegals to Florida" did not help. Now the FL plan was shut down but what about the other displacements due to border chaos? What city will welcome alien bums and their lifetime illiterate welfare mothers and hungry children, and gang members? None.
