Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a close ally of President Trump who has supported the presidents desire to pull U.S. troops out of the Middle East, says national security adviser John Bolton is a malign influence.
Paul, who believes the U.S. should reduce its military presence in Syria and Afghanistan, says he is alarmed by the recent mobilization of U.S. combat troops to counter what some Trump officials see as a rising threat posed by Iran.
Asked about Boltons role in the recent deployment of an aircraft carrier strike group and an Air Force bomber task force, Paul said, I fear that hes a malignancy, a malignant influence on the administration."

STFU Rand...
I agree with him. The quote from my profile page was posted here on FR specifically about Bolton.
Does he EVER criticize the demonic, communist democrats? Not really, because he’s always trying to please them.
Why should he? Democrats behave exactly as the people who voted for them expect they do.
That seems still relevant today.
Politically, hes probably more closely aligned with President Trump than 99% of the Republicans in Washington.
Iran good, Bolton malign.
I agree with him.
Military industrial complex must need more profits and armchair warriors are getting bored.
Besides another catastrophic occupation would hurt Trump so many would be happy.
And people who love playing soldier like to see the real thing sometimes even though the real bullets won’t be sending them home with a destroyed brain or arm or leg.
We NEVER, EVER, EVER learn.
Vietnam, Iraq, the 17 year war in Afghanistan...we just never learn.
It's not that they have much to offer other than they feel their principles are worthy to stimulate discussion while more importantly keeping them in the public limelight.
He sure proved that with his support for Trump’s executive order to build the wall . . . oh wait; he stabbed Trump in the back by going along with the Dems’ resolution to condemn it.
Truth be told, President Trump doesn’t have any close allies in the Senate.
Well then we should fear giving people like Rand real power.
I agree with Rand. No more blood and treasure expended and no more nation building in these fourth world $h!tholes.
Some people just hear what they want to hear. I had that retarded baboon GWB pegged at least 5 years before most Freepers realized he was a globalist fraud. Some of his apologists apparently feel safe enough to crawl out from under their rocks right now.
I don’t disagree, I just think he shut the hell up...
He doesn’t have to give his opinion, unless he really needs the attention...
Rand Paul is the master of public statements for the sake of PR and symbolic, ineffective Senate votes.
After nearly 20 years of bankrupting America in wars, and flooding both the USA Europe with refugees from Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya as well as the whole PC “religion of peace” thing, the deep state still is trying for a few more foreign policy disasters which will really finish the West off.
THAT, my friend, you are RIGHT about :)
I think he still sees the presidency in his dreams.
That’s the only place it will ever be.
Have a good one.
