A Michigan Republican and member of the House Freedom Caucus broke with his party Saturday in a rare series of tweetes accusing President Trump of "impeachable conduct."
Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) tweeted Saturday that the president's actions to potentially obstruct the now-shuttered special counsel investigation warranted impeachment by the House, and accused Attorney General William Barr of "deliberately misrepresenting" Robert Mueller's report of the investigation's findings.
"Here are my principal conclusions: 1. Attorney General Barr has deliberately misrepresented Mueller’s report. 2. President Trump has engaged in impeachable conduct. 3. Partisanship has eroded our system of checks and balances. 4. Few members of Congress have read the report," Amash wrote Saturday afternoon.
"Mueller’s report reveals that President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment," the Michigan Republican continued. "Mueller’s report identifies multiple examples of conduct satisfying all the elements of obstruction of justice, and undoubtedly any person who is not the president of the United States would be indicted based on such evidence."

The Palestinian Paulistinian strikes again. I’ve been railing against this anti-American Paultard for years, but somehow he’s got a lot of fans here on FR claiming that he’s a “real conservative” and not a “career politician” (despite his being in elective office for all but like a year since he graduated from law school)—I expect that they will stay quiet for the time being. Amash is long overdue to be kicked out in the GOP primary, and after this latest act of capitulation to Leftists I think that his days in Congress are numbered.
And if he decides to run for president as a Liberaltarian instead, we should let Leftists know that he’s the real anti-military, anti-Semitic, pro-Islamist candidate so they should vote fir him instead of for Biden or Sanders or whomever.
