Hundreds of migrant families will be flown to California in as many as three flights a week as U.S. Border Patrol agents continue to struggle with the growing number of illegals crossing into the U.S., officials said.
Flights carrying 120 to 135 people were set to begin flying Friday to San Diego from the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and would continue to do so indefinitely, Border Patrol's interim San Diego sector chief Douglas Harrison said.
Harrison called it a “contingency operation” that would see at least three flights a week making the trip. Each flight would cost the government around $6,000, officials said.

I am completely bewildered as to why the DHS is flying these diseased scum into the interior of our country instead of flying them into Mexico and dumping them out.
I believe this is a poorly thought-out political approach by Trump. Sure, it plays poorly in states he likely won’t win but is red meat in states he will likely win. But as you note it is colossally bad policy for the citizenry, even those who didn’t vote for him.

He didn’t have the votes!! Remember the RINOs. If we the voters had actually elected at least real Rs...but no...too many vote with the dims. He has never had the votes. Enough have an R but with some it is meaningless.
We have too many in Congress that support open borders and illegal immigration. We need to stand up to them and hold their feet to the fire. It may not do any good...they are likely bought off but we need to try.

I’m 18 miles from the border.
Our city and county government didn’t encourage churches to take them, one was really virtue signaling and insisted. They are asking for food and other donations and volunteers.
I see a lot of generosity, for now, but the generosity will be gone by next week, people will be tapped out. We are the poorest county in our state and our poor are going to suffer and our public servants are being over-worked and our hospital is overwhelmed and it just got started.
So? Put them in a remote area and let them figure out how to come back.. OR... build a community there. I don’t care.

Send the illegals only to states that are already blue!!!!!
This is very important; do not fly them to red states. The plan is to use these people to turn the red states purple or blue.
Also- who is in charge of DHS deciding where they go? It appears that DHS has embedded deep states who are making the decisions - i.e., sending them to Florida, Texas.
I hope President Trump and his team understand the ‘rat strategy and are on it and do something about it.
