Thank you for saying, some/many - for I did not. I never trusted him - but then I distrust most judges.
I said he was putting on a show to maintain his facade as a slightly stricter Constructionist.

Judge Sullivan is a white hat who is forcing the FIBs and Mueller attorneys to show him the transcript and the audio tapes of the intercepts with Kislyak, They say in their 302's ..he lied. Judge Sullivan doesn't believe them and rightfully so.

As we sit here in our relative (FR) coccoon, one might necessarily ask, “Why doesn’t Trump unleash his threatened declassification [DECLAS] and get this over with? Why did he assert ExecPriv over the report?
Trump has repeatedly assured us patriots that he will abide by the rule of law. In this case, that law states that Grand Jury evidence and testimony cannot be released while the GJ is seated.
If the GJ info was DECLAS’d, would the Dhimmicrats go on the attack stating that DECLAS violates the GJ law (the same way they thought they couold trap Barr, BTW)? I think yes.

If a whistleblower testifies before a grand jury, it’s understood the whistleblower’s identity is to be kept a secret unless waived.
How could this Judge even know the redacted parts of the Mueller Report?

Apparently, the Justice Branch runs the US and there is no separation of powers between it and much of the Legislative Branch.

Mueller and his team of angry Democrat thugs used the media leak as the hook they needed to go after Flynn with a vengeance, ensnared Flynn into a perjury trap and charged him with making a false statement to the feds — even though Flynn didn’t lie.Who unmasked Flynn and who leaked his phone calls with Kislyak to the Washington Post? Congressman Nunes hinted a couple weeks ago in an interview with Maria Bartiromo that his investigation may reveal who the leaker is.
It is also widely believed that there was a FISA warrant on General Flynn — the president should issue Flynn a full pardon and prosecute every corrupt official who illegally targeted Flynn for ruin.
Flynn is still awaiting sentencing after being harassed by Mueller and Obama’s corrupt officials for the past several years.

If I was forced to choose an interpretation I would say that the Judge is fed up with the lies of the Prosecutors. He wanted Flynn to bring them up, which is why he berrated him, in an attempt to provoke him, but he failed to get a rise out of Flynn.
Now he's taking matters into his own hands. He will not be used as part of a partisan witch hunt where it's obvious that an innocent man is being blackmailed into pleading guilty to satisfy a Political agenda.
The Judge is old, and has nothing to lose. He's retiring shortly, he's too old to ever get nominated the the Supreme Court. This is likely to be the most defining case of his long career.

During the trial, the judge refused requests by the defense for a mistrial to be declared, after information was revealed that the prosecution had withheld exculpatory Brady material.[5][6] Eight days after the guilty verdict, Stevens narrowly lost his reelection bid.[7] As more evidence of prosecutorial misconduct became known in early 2009, Judge Sullivan held four prosecutors in civil contempt of court.[8] On April 1, 2009, following a Justice Department probe that found additional evidence of prosecutorial misconduct, the Department of Justice recommended that Stevens' conviction be dismissed.[9] On April 7, 2009, Sullivan set aside the conviction and appointed a lawyer to investigate the prosecution team for criminal contempt.[10] Subsequently, one of the four prosecutors held in contempt committed suicide.[11] Ultimately, Sullivan dismissed the civil contempt charges,[12] and no additional charges were brought against the prosecutors.[13]

There was an attempt to determine where the deleted emails of former IRS employee Lois Lerner had gone, what damage to her computer hard drive occurred, and what steps the IRS had taken to recover the information contained in the emails and on the hard drive.[15][16]

Not satisfied with the explanations offered by the Government. Then he got another case where covering up Government wrong doing was front and center:

Sullivan pressed DOJ lawyers on whether the State Department had done enough to comply with the public records laws by combing through the emails Clinton had provided but not the others she said were personal.So, to me that paints a picture of an old guy who's been screwed with by the Deep State guys in a number of high profile cases, and in at least one of them left with egg on his face....
Sullivan said he wanted the State Department to ask Clinton if any third parties had access to copies of the emails. The judge also said he would not micro-manage the dialogue between the State Department and the FBI but would leave it up to them to work out the details.
He's old, he's wise to them, he's kinda pissed of at these Deep State types continually lying and hiding evidence, particularly exculpatory evidence of the type that was hidden in the Steven's case and permitted him to oversee a conviction that had to be voided.
He's got nothing to lose, so he's gonna make his last stand right here.
He wanted Flynn to stand up for himself, and pushed him too, but Flynn is in too deep. What he's being threatened with is too repugnant for him to do anything but lie and take the guilty plea, as the FBI are strongly encoraging him to do.
We know the FBI threatened to indict Flynn's son earlier in the case. As an old man who wouldn't plead to a process crime to keep your son out of prison for a non-crime?
June is going to be even more fun than May has been so far! The Govt. has until May 31 to comply with the Judge's orders.
