A pregnant woman living as a transgender male arrived to a hospital with severe abdominal pains and nurses didnt immediately consider it an emergency because she appeared to be an obese man who stopped taking blood pressure medication.
Healthcare professionals at the hospital didnt even think this individual may be a pregnant woman because she was listed as a male in her medical records.
Women in their child-bearing years showing up to the hospital with these same symptoms are immediately taken in and examined just in case there are pregnancy-related complications, but since nurses thought this patient was a male, the unborn baby didnt make it and the patient delivered a stillborn baby.
LOL. I can see it now. Straight men will be asked if they are pregnant and when was their last period. Menopause will have a new meaning. Men will pause before answering.
“What am I? Guess!
“What’s my chosen pronoun? Guess!”
Ya really think she would win a law suit ???
Really ???
all she had to do was admit she was female and pregnant...or the hospital would have soon figured out she was pregnant...and she refused to do so...
Check that paragraph that states that women get treated for pregnancy...she tried to hide she was a woman and preggers...
is this a test case thing where the hospital was set up etc ???
The intake people ask the question. They dont ask for proof. For 5,000 years thats worked.
Transgenderism - what could go wrong.....
No, the "pregnant woman" part is factually accurate.
Couldnt she speak? Non-English speaking? Hospital personnel shouldnt have to guess what has come through the door.
The story here is, two people enter an ER, and the wrong one dies.
Insanity!
The 32-year-old patient told the nurse he was transgender when he arrived at the emergency room and his electronic medical record listed him as male. He hadnt had a period in several years and had been taking testosterone, a hormone that has masculinizing effects and can decrease ovulation and menstruation. But he quit taking the hormone and blood pressure medication after he lost insurance.
Once he stopped taking the hormones he reverted because reality trumps your fantasy world and his body started kicking out eggs again.
This is insanity and any and all medical personnel who condone this are guilty of malpractice and endangering the public.
I am so glad my medical career is nearly done.
I won’t have to deal with this insanity in the ER.
It’s A Sick, Sick, Sick, Sick World
Uh no. Listening with a regular stethoscope to a patients abdomen is not how you hear fetal heart tones. Even with a doppler stethoscope it’s tough, particularly in a noisy ER.
believe it or not, when you come in with abd pain, or back ache, or pneumonia or MOST ailments, your genitalia does not get examined......why would it?......unless the woman was peeing with a peter, how do you know?
My wife just had her annual appt and her GYN's health survey had a question asking how the patients "gender identified". I certainly hope he does pelvic exams and pap smears on all the males that think they are women because they bought a dress.
Cost of ignorance can be extreme.
It was a far better country when we did not politically and socially cater and encourage peoples’ mental illnesses.
“She got pregnant, so was not living as a man. :-)”
She was living as a gay man.
Play stupid games, destroy innocent lives.
It could artificial insemination. Otherwise correct.
“Moments later, the man delivered a stillborn baby.”
NOPE.
