Senior FBI officials were concerned then director James Comey would appear to be blackmailing then President-elect Trump – using tactics notoriously associated with J.Edgar Hoover – when he attended a fateful Jan. 6, 2017, meeting at which he informed the real estate magnate about allegations he had consorted with prostitutes in Moscow, according to Jim Baker, the bureau’s chief counsel at the time.
“We were quite worried about the Hoover analogies, and we were determined not to have such a disaster happen on our watch,” said Jim Baker, then the FBI’s top lawyer in an interview with the Yahoo News podcast Skullduggery. But he and Comey determined the bureau had an obligation to tell Trump of the uncorroborated allegations because “the press has it; it’s about to come out. You should be alerted to that fact.”

Baker is pretty much admitting here that they were indeed attempting to blackmail Trump... The big problem for him, Comey and the rest of these treasonous conspirators. It didn't work and then their efforts to ensure Trumps impeachment failed miserably... Now it's time to pay the pied piper.

They were blackmailing, maybe the Dems still are, by threatening to go after the President’s family and his businesses for all sorts of nonsense. Even his tax returns seem to be part of the blackmail-type threats as Mr. Donald J. Trump committed no crimes.
As A SEASONED LAWYER HIMSELF, Jim Baker would be better served to clam up. IIRC, (and I’m certain I do) he’s not in the clear either.

The press had it for a long time but it was such obvious BS that they couldn't run it. Until the FBI briefed Trump on it, making it newsworthy. that was the prearranged trigger to publish and Comey and his gang of co-conspirators executed that plan.

It would be terrible if it appeared that they were doing exactly what they were doing.
What this fiasco proves is that our intelligence agencies aren’t very intelligent. They had to act like thugs with pre-dawn armed raids on senior citizens to try to scare false confessions out of anyone connected with the President. Pathetic.
Some of the victims of this hoax behaved admirably as true patriots. Exhibit A: Mrs. Jerome Corsi, who told her aged author husband he should never bend to the wishes of the government bullies, and she would be honored to come visit him in prison. Now that is a true American who deserves a monument.

Comey was clearly trying to get control over the president of the united states through blackmail. It’s pretty obvious and it stinks.

The FBI/CIA likes to have something on all Presidents. They are right their ready to create a scandal as soon as a president does not support the intelligence swamp. Normally they have enough on a candidate before they get their. But Trump came out of the blue. So they acted quickly.
I will laugh when these criminals experience justice. What seditious traitors.
