Can former Vice President Joe Biden thrive in a Democratic Party that treats predictions of climate change catastrophe as religious doctrine? Not if Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., have it their way.
Reuters reported Friday that Biden currently the early front-runner for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination in terms of voter support and fundraising is crafting a middle ground climate change policy that his team believes will appeal to enough voters to put him in the White House.
**SNIP**
Bidens middle ground policy comes just as Ocasio-Cortez with help from Hollywood, the left-wing media and environmental groups is ramping up her efforts to make the Green New Deals radical policies a litmus test for Democrats running for president in 2020.
Ocasio-Cortez will headline a high-profile Green New Deal rally at Howard University in Washington on Monday. She is reportedly talking with filmmaker Rachel Lears about creating a documentary about the necessity of the Green New Deal. Lears is the director behind Netflixs flattering Knock Down the House documentary about Ocasio-Cortezs 2018 campaign.

Hey dems; if you are not holding your breath, then you are contributing to the destruction of the Earth.
Roll with that, you crazy beeotch.
Bernie can't win in the general (neither can Biden), but Bernie also doesn't have the votes to secure the nomination (Biden does).
Hey Millennials, you’ll really love the Green New Deal. They will tear down all houses (except the mansions of the ruling class) and replace them with dreary Soviet-style high rises. You will get to share your efficiency apartment with several people. No air conditioning. Little heat. One bathroom that gets shared by 10 families. If your apartment feels cramped you can go stand in line for several hours at the grocery store in the hope they might deliver bread or toilet paper. The Green New Deal - Making Socialism Great Again!
Excellent.
Yes, and of course you will be privileged to once in awhile be gifted with the presence and wisdom of AOC and the other members of the politburo - as they humble themselves to be amongst the great unwashed masses.
the Dems have a gigantic problem: it’s not possible for them to nominate a candidate who simultaneously appeals to both the not completely lunatic branch of their voters and the completely lunatic branch ...
Some will, some won't, remembering our own youth, we know they'll make up their own minds according to their gifts (or lack).
In other parts of the video, which surfaced late Monday, she talked about her life in Washington, DC, as a new member of Congress, calling it super weird.
Here in DC its like, so weird. Its like everybody is like, a spy. Like, its so bizarre, she said.
Its like you could go out to get a coffee and the person thats, like, sitting at a table in the corner of the restaurant is like, you know, like, she said, as she made typing motions.
Then they go and, like, they text all of their friends that they saw so-and-so at this cafe and its like, triangulation, she continued. And its super weird.

They’ve got Marx but they want Stalin.
Doesnt this woman have constituents in her district? Isnt she supposed to work to better the lives of those she represents? Like bring in new jobs? We know how that went.
“Alaska would experience the highest cost increase at $100,505 per household in the first year, dropping to $73,092 in years 2-5, and $67,536 in the sixth year and thereafter, the research found.
In the other four states, the cost per household in the first year ranged from $73,010 to $71,910, with the price tag dropping to about $38,000 in year six. The 2016 U.S. average real median household income was $59,039, according to the U.S. Census.
Our analysis shows that, if implemented, the Green New Deal would cost for American households at least tens of thousands of dollars annually on a permanent basis, said CEI President and CEO Kent Lassman. Perhaps thats why exactly zero Senate Democrats, including the resolutions 12 co-sponsors, voted for the Green New Deal when they had the chance.
