From New Zealand to Sri Lanka, houses of worship are under attack. This has been an all too common phenomenon around the world. At home, there have been recent shootings at synagogues in Pittsburgh and San Diego, and at churches in Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, and South Carolina. So how do we make people safer?

Concealed carry for patrons, an armed guard at open doors. Case closed......
We have off-duty armed and uniformed police present in the lobby at our church. It’s just the way things are.
All decent Americans should be armed everywhere that they go. That way they are guaranteed at least one armed guard whenever socialists attack. In a gathering of decent people, we’ll have a squad, a platoon, perhaps even a company of armed guards. That’s a good start when the thugs favored by the globalist left show up.
Our church is too small for a lobby. About 40 on a really good Sunday. Of those, probably 4 are carrying more than a Bible...
“”To crush your enemies — See them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!”.
We actually meet at the local YWCA, in an auditorium room there. So the lobby is actually the lobby of the YWCA. We probably get around 100 people. But we are a satellite of a larger church with multiple campuses—I think the main church is in charge of setting up the security.
concealed carry everywhere...stop the school shootings and the church/synagogue shootings...and the shootings in malls, businesses, and other group exposures...kill the killer before he or she kills..............

Never go to church without being armed.

If armed guards aren’t enough, why do some vanks have them?
Why do armored cars have armed guards?
If I were packing in my church, any infraction along those lines would be a death penalty offense.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
“the rights of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”
(our Founders were exceptionally wise people)
As do we, along with parishioners who carry concealed (including yours truly). There would definitely be fire going both ways.
The solution to gun violence is more guns.
My buddy from the National Guard is a CCW greeter at his church. They have secret service style commo and nearly all are former/current military. That Church is armed to the teeth and most of the congregation hasn’t any clue.
In fact, I don’t like it if there is only one armed person in a community group. Having more persons makes the probability of a mass shooting by one of them pretty much vanish when tree or more are present.
A few armed people in the congregation isn’t enough.
If some of the armed aren’t wearing body armor, then you’re offering the perp a fair fight, and you know what Steinbeck said about fair fights. And you need at least one person with a long gun who can make a surgical shot in case the perp gets into the church and amongst the sheep. And this person needs to remain separate from the congregants so he retains freedom of maneuver.
A few old timers with pocket pistols isn’t enough.
If the mode of transport defined by the law is "carrying a concealed deadly weapon," that is what you are doing when you are armed. If open carry is de rigeur, that is what you are doing.
You may not like being called out on this, but the word is don't ber using a criminal's lingo to describe your behavior. You might get taken to be one.
This business of being an armed citizen is a very serious undertaking, especially as a follower of Christ. Don't tarnish it with Mafia-generated descriptors.
