NBCs Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is really stretching that ripped from the headlines mindset with its latest episode. Not only does SVU maintain the media lie about the Covington Catholic kids (this time with Jewish students), the show also manages to play defense for Rep. Ilhan Omar (with a Muslim councilwoman standing in for "Native American elder" Nathan Phillips). Who knew you could fit so much intersectional dishonesty into one hour?
The May 9 episode Assumptions opens with two Jewish teenage boys running from a vandalized synagogue where we find Muslim Councilwoman Nahla Nasar (Nazneen Contractor) has been raped. Since one of the teens, named Ari (Ted Sutherland), wore a red cap, a narrative quickly forms, especially when Nasar points him out in a lineup. This boy grabbed my hijab and spat in my face, she says. These people are Islamophobes. It's in their blood. One of these boys must have raped me.

. . . . An investigation eventually reveals that Nasar had provoked the incident by approaching the group directly.
. . . . As the case continues, we learn that it was, in fact, her ex-husband who attacked and raped her.
SVU jumped the Shark a long time ago. There are just so many shows you can do on the same subjects. As it went on SVU become even more Leftist in it’s shows and subjects.
How this show is going for a 21st season is beyond me. They ran out of original ideas a long time ago. I refuse to watch it even it’s reruns. Much prefer the original Law & Order, especially the first 4 seasons.
I didn’t watch the show. I don’t even watch TV. My comment was based only on what the article said.
I stopped watching years ago. Obvious political bias, poorly written and implausible storylines.
I used to watch Law and Order. I don’t know how many times I saw white criminals victimizing blacks and occasionally other minorities. There was also a large number of black judges, lawyers, scientists, business people, and honor roll students. They would “rip from the headlines” stories of crimes committed by blacks against whites, and reverse the races.
I record the show and watch it right afterward so I can skip through commercials.
I wasn’t offended by this episode. All the liars were exposed. The Muslim councilwoman had to admit to her lies, and had to reveal her Lesbianism during her testimony against her rapist, - her former husband, a Sharia practicing Muslim.
Of course, her strict Muslim parents were in the courtroom, so they also learned the truth about their daughter and bless their hearts, they still loved her.
All’s well that ends well. Moral of this fantasy episode: All Muslims are not radical. Parental love prevailed.
Thank you for the synopsis. :-)
In the short video clip, the MAGA-hat-wearing boys are made to look angry and aggressive. Maybe that’s the part we’re all taking exception to. But watching the entire episode might’ve put it in a different light.
The SVU production company will now be added becasue...meh...double-down on stoopit.
Law & Ordure
Globalist Indoctrination
All these shows are PC.
Not MY definition of pc.
Thank you. I record all shows and skip commercials. Now I’ll watch it.
Screw Dick Wolf.
Sue then too.
I watched that show trying to ignore their loony leftest bent, but they finally went too far a few months back now I never knew them. They took a little longer with this show than they did with Law & Order, could have been an all time great show. Oh well..........Currently trying to watch "The Code" having a hard time accepting the lefty cr@p they dream up to attack the command structure of the military.
I’ve got 5 episodes recorded. Please tell me theres nothing about trannys or gays yet.
Yes. They did that for the story where the kids sent a Chinese delivery man to an abandoned building, killed him, and ate the food.
