French business owners ask the government to help them deal with the expected violence associated with ‘Ramadan Rage’
HEH…good luck with that. French business owners in the city of Montpellier are calling on local government to provide increased security, arguing that violence by Muslims has increased markedly during the Ramadan fasting* month over the last four years.
*Ramadan fasting consists of starving oneself from sunrise to sunset, then gorging oneself for the rest of the night.
Breitbart The business owners all operate in the neighbourhood of Gambetta and say that when Ramadan comes every year, they see an increase of violence that could negatively affect their businesses, French local news network Actu reports.
Local businessman Ajouri M. explained the problem saying, “for four years now at the same time during the holy month of Ramadan, the Gambetta neighbourhood is the scene of violence and extraordinary tensions. And Ramadan is coming
He went on to explain that the neighbourhood often sees stabbings, exchanges of gunfire and violent altercations and although police do respond to the incidents, he claimed that the perpetrators come back as soon as the officers leave.
According to the businessman, he and several others have been in direct contact with Montpellier Mayor Philippe Saurel to discuss increasing security in the area.
The group met with municipal police chief Georges Elnecave with Ajouri M. saying it had been a “quick and positive meeting since a solution has been found. It consists of setting up a pedestrian crew of the municipal police, who will patrol from early afternoon to sunset on the Cours Gambetta, in order to protect the population and avoid any slippage and violence similar to those experienced in previous years.”
Violence across the Muslim world during the holy month, sometimes referred to as “Ramadan Rage“, has been linked to terror attacks and other violent incidents year after year.
In France, one incident of Ramadan violence made headlines in 2016 when a pair of Muslims brutally attacked a waitress in Nice for serving alcohol. The waitress was left with a large facial haematoma following the attack.
In 2017, 3,343 people were casualties of violence during the holy month as a result of Islamic-linked violence with 1,639 killed in attacks. Last year there were 1,627 murders and 1,824 injuries during Ramadan, making it one of the deadliest Ramadan months in modern history.
I wonder if, during their month long holiday, they are traveling would they stay in a Ramadan Inn. A lodging facility where you check in but don’t check out.

Couple of years ago, I sat in a language class...with 70-percent of the class being Islam folks. I’d spent six weeks prior to Ramadan with everyone....no issues. Class actually moved along well.
Then started Ramadan. Totally different character in the room. Sun was rising at 5:10 AM, with class starting around 9 AM. The Ramadan folks came in dead-tired, grumpy, and unable to concentrate. By 11 AM, they were dehydrated, and those who smoked...were in a fairly harsh situation. At 1 PM, the class finally ended.
That four-week period was absolutely miserable, and around the last day of this....I just got up and walked out...refusing to return. I felt sorry for the teacher, but this was all part of the screwed up system.
If I were an employer, I’d be unable to hire anyone with this situation. Customer friendliness would be a major issue.
What other religion considers fasting for a few hours and then gorging out like pigs for a feast to be "fasting"? Heck, in that case, Americans celebrate Ramadan each year on the fourth Thursday in November.
When Jesus went into the desert for 40 days to pray and fast, he didn't pig out each evening at sunset.
The real truth about Islam is that it is a base "religion". Islam wallows in the carnal, from their so-called "fasting" ritual, to their obsession with bedding down nine-year old girls, and killing the innocent to get a piece of the the 70 virgins.
The correct term is “Bombadan”.

Given the northern latitude of that location Muslims must refrain from eating and drinking for 14.5 hours. I would be cranky too. I guess Allah did not realize the earth has a tilt.

It's crazy. It's stupid. They jusy flip day for night. Fast during the day, gorge all night. Shops and businesses flip their schedules too.

The “gorging oneself” is not an accurate description whatsoever. Ramadan is a period of fasting during the day. Fasting is a feature in many religions including, likely, yours.
Just Muslims being Muslims.
Business owners are to blame for voting in muzzy lovers.
