I thought women were such great spellers? (My mom was, my wife is!) I’m surprised she’s willing to admit her mistake!

Maybe it's not a misspelling. Maybe that's how she talked.

The life of paper money is short, these bills will disappear rapidly after much use. Not a real problem. Besides, who bothers reading micro-print?

These bills are actually made of a very tough plastic, and they last much longer than the rag/paper bills you are used to using in the USA.

I suppose plastic is better, resists foul odors and bacteria after being handled by homeless people. I quickly unload dirty rag/paper bills after receiving them as change here in the USA.

The danger with this type of bill, is that they are known to shrivel up or melt, if heated. That has happened here in Canada with our plastic money.

It looks like funny-money anyway, a few misspelled words won’t hurt it.

Check out the many misspellings on this statue inscription in Central Park, here in New York City.
They later inserted the missing letters. The insertions are tiny. So you have to look carefully.
