They just covered all the wood and nicotine at the VFW post with paint.
Some folks like it, some don’t
give them another 50 years and they will strip the paint and marvel at the wood :)

Good evening, Mooch...we think spring is finally here to stay. It rained all night and into the morning...more coming. It is very welcome to help settle the dirt and dust of spring cleaning.
Are you having a nice spring?

Howdy, LUV.
Sorry I disappeared but as soon as I posted, I had to fill the cats’ food dish and realized the bag of dry food was low. We’re going to have a wet, stormy day here tomorrow and there’s no way I’m shopping in that! So it was off to the store.
I didn’t have a chance to check in on the storm chasers until late this afternoon. By then, only Brett was streaming. I gather College Station had a rough time? I hope it wasn’t too bad.
It was pretty and hot here but stiff wind made it feel nice. Tomorrow will be a different story what with storms. They’ll be here just in time to have to drive in the mess to pick up Moogly from the vet. *sigh*

That’s ok. I was doing some mod-ing for AgendaFreeTV. it’s the first anniversary of the channel.
There were definitely tornadoes in the area there and also along the I-40 corridor and I watched a stream on Periscope with Jeff Piorovski [sp] and actually saw some funnels. Gave me chills. I got a scap of one.

I saw tornado warning boxes on the radar when I finally got a chance to get on the computer. Brett was trying to catch up to one of the storms and was closing in. Then traffic came to a standstill on I-40 for quite a while. That was pretty much where the storm had crossed the interstate so I assume there was a mess.
Nice to see things have calmed down a little tonight. There are still storms but no tornados.
No telling what we’ll get tomorrow. There’s a chance things could get a bit wild so we’ll be keeping an eye on things.

I just can’t picture all that beautiful wood being covered with whitewash.
Phooey!
That wood is part of the charm of the cottage!

I know!
I was thinking of you watching 2 labs and a BIG shamblin’ galloot of a Great Dane, goofing around and playing, and then chasing seagulls.
They were right outside of the restaurant goofing around.
One of the labs came up to be petted when we first got there-he was soaking wet!
Dumb dawg!

Great pic, Sis!
I have no say in the matter, but Sue and her hubby weren’t to keen on the idea, that’s for sure!
