Had chickenpox in 3rd grade...................1963...............
Clearly, he has only minutes left to live.
Yeah. And hell live through it. Like I did
It’s like rain on your wedding day.
I had it, my sister had it, no big deal, itched like crazy got a lil fever and poof it was gone
Very strange story. He is going to a religious school, so one would assume his religious beliefs would somewhat align with the school’s. But ‘deeply held religious beliefs’ put him in defiance of the school?
Chicken pox is good to get in childhood as it provides immunity for stuff later in life, as I understand it.
And to raise so much hell over such an innocuous disease is over the top.
The good news is, he’ll survive.
Or a free ride, when you’ve already paid.
Not many kids DIDN’T have them when I was growing up. . . but I do want to get vaccinated for shingles. I started to school in 1963. Have only taken one flu shot in my life. Haven’t had the flu since I was a kid.
Yeah? So after its run its course, he won’t have to worry about it again. Trust me...I survived to tell the story.
Do you notice Freepers.
How are you are a demon cat masters
Are constantly trying to convince you
To inject yourself with poison!
This is what I tell my wife and all the other nervous mothers in our school district
Just dont worry about it
This is the united states of America
No government agent can forcay inject you with anything
If you choose to let government agents do this to you thats your problem
“How are you are a demon cat masters”
This was the best part of your parody rant.
Until it comes back as shingles, you mean.
CP is down the list for important vaccinations, but it does kill a fair number of people (or did) and shingles are horrible.
He will have lifetime immunity. Those who got the vaccine have normally have immunity for 10-15 years. So...
oops . . . now there were some unintended consequences.
I think if you HAD chicken pox as a child, you are more apt to get shingles later in life. Is that correct?
We’re raising a nation of babies. When I was a kid, we were terrified of polio — remember those pictures of iron lungs? Now the big worries are measles, chickenpox and GMO food.
Having CP does not protect you from anything but CP and makes it probable that you will suffer from shingles (the same virus gone dormant in your system) later in life.
Had chickenpox in HS and my parents did NOT approve of the vaccination crap either. I was mad at them for awhile because they let it happen LOl plus I had a date for that Saturday with a cute girl which added to my aggravation staying home..
