Facebook (and the others, I presume) are constructing massive profiles on every living person on the planet. You don’t have a Facebook account? You’ve got the “right privacy settings”?
Doesn’t matter. If you have a computer and you have an internet account, every click goes into your profile. Yes, if you have a Facebook, Google, Apple, or Amazon account, you are shoveling massive amounts of information about yourself into their system, but even if you don’t, you are on the radar.
Already, Facebook is leading the race to provide the data to China necessary to assess someone’s “social worth” score. If they demonstrate that it works in China, it will work anywhere.
In five years, if you want a mortgage, if you want a business account, if you want to travel, if you want to even buy food without cash (which is also going away), you will need a “voluntary” social ID from Facebook, or some such.

Gab is up, you have to side load the apk for their client on andrroid. Web works just fine. They also released “Dissenter”, a browser plugin that lets you comment on absolutely any website.
The things driving the banning/suspensions of these folks are lib activist groups who coordinate flag attacks against them, in the same way they target advertisers of Conservative talking heads. Some of these groups boast upwards of 80,000 members. Think about it, they target somebody on Twitter, next thing they know, Twitter gets 10’s of thousands of complaints about somebody’s post, perhaps even multiple times against multiple posts. Eventually, they just get tired of responding and timeout the account everyone is complaining about. In their mind, they are eliminating a headache and lots of lost time in labor for the site. I doubt it’s purely for political reasons by them in many cases.
Oh, they will. This is just the proof-of-concept stage of the database that will send the buses to actually pick you up.
