Authorities believe at least two people were injured in a shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
A ranking law enforcement source told Denver7 that at least one victim was shot and that one suspect was down. Authorities were looking for two other suspects, the source said.
The sheriff's office tweeted about 2:40 p.m. that the incident was an "active and unstable scene" at the STEM school, which is located off South Ridgeline Road and Plaza Drive. Authorities responded to the school about 1:50 p.m. on a report of shots fired, and deputies were still in the process of identifying and locating any shooters, the sheriff's office tweeted.

Actually, the national Gun Free School Zones law was passed by a Republican-led Congress, twice (and then signed into law by Clinton). When SCOTUS shot down the first law, they simply created it again. This one was a bi-partisan butt-reaming.

I wonder what percentage of mental heath professionals are liberal leftists, and bleeding heart types, who don’t want to put dangerously mental patients in secure facilities.
Drugs are not the answer for so many of these, for they will not take them when out on the street. I read that they do not like the side effects.
We need to be protected from the dangerously mental ill. They do not need to be protected from us.

Every mental health pro that I know wants tighter control of the mentally ill, no matter where they stand on the political spectrum. They are all dancing to the tunes of the laws written by leftist politicans.

Maybe my location has colored my assessment - living in TwinCities, where mental illness runs rampant, and the mental health professionals are demanding that the police dept lower the psych exams for entrance, because too many of the desired “diversity” candidates can’t pass them.
I know so many who have TDS here - and have lost trust in their views of reality.

Bingo. Here in Teller County, we are in the top ten in gun ownership in the republic, wrap around Pikes Peak, and our tremendous Sheriff busts about a drug grow a week, calls ICE on illegals, and told the ACLU to pound sand.
