Original in Japanese: 北朝鮮の飛翔体、弾道ミサイルか 国連制裁違反の可能性 ("North Korean Launch, Could Possibly Be Ballistic Missile, and Possible UN Violation")
Two paragraph synopsis from the original Japanese--my translation (breaking):
"Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the launch of projectiles yesterday from the east coast of North Korea into the Sea of Japan. Now based on photo analysis of the launch from images provided by official North Korean news sources, South Korean military specialists have analyzed the vehicle, and a viewpoint is emerging the launch yesterday was, in fact, likely a violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions against North Korea launching such ballistic missiles."
" According to North Korean media, the launches were practice tests of a new long distance multiple rocket launcher and also were done to confirm the functionality of new strategic weaponry by the North. As Kim Jong Un was giving the command onsite, the photo shows the moment of launch of this vehicle. Professor Kim Dong Pa, a learned Kyongnan University (South Korea) scholar of the North Korean military, analyzed the photographs, stating it was verticle launch from a mobile vehicle using new targeting technology, capable of mounting a nuclear warhead with an incredible likeness to the Russian Iskander (Искандер), a shortage range ballistic missile. In February of last year, the Professor notes this missile was on display at the 70th anniversary of the Korean Military and was one of the ballistic missiles in the parade." (END OF SUMMARY TRANSLATION)
I think the long game is the PRC gets influence with the South Korean government, and makes the deal to agree to unification with the US kicked out of the peninsula, that’s what the PRC really wants.
I see it somewhat differently...
The ‘controllers’ have used their approach which has worked for the regime for years, (though Trumps approach is different than previous administrations), the Kim ‘regimes response’ gets contorted around to what ‘is familiar to them’ regardless of what Trump and Kim might agree on. The reason of course is the ‘controllers’ are like the Deep State Trumps faced with, trying to hold onto their power and cushy lifestyles with no concern for their country.
I don’t think the ‘controllers’ like Kim meeting with Trump at All, which was quite evident in this last meeting when everything went south.
Yes PRC is the chief suspect here.
The resemblance of the NK missile to Russian missile craft also can point to PRC as they copy/steal designs from everyone and they would want observers thinking there is Russian involvement, taking the eyes off them.
Intel drops have C_A rogue actors and neocons involved in a belligerent NK and leading them with design/tech. It sounds far-fetched to newbies but there’s a ton of credible drops that add up in that direction.
Let’s face it - Jarhead the n00b would be A-OK with a Democrat appointing Lefty Democrats to the Federal bench, because Muh Cruzin.
Which is why JarJar & ANeverTrumperInEdo get a thrill up their leg whenever they see a lefty “TrumpFail in NorK” article.
Youre such a sad sack. Been here 18+ years thats a lie youve been discredited. Ive posted my happiness with Trump bench appointments thats a lie youve been discredited. Never did I in this article or the other post any joy about Trump failing. In fact I was ASKED what I thought after I pointed out the obvious in the article poor and never mentioned him until I was asked thats a lie youve been discredited again. You just didnt like my answer. Tough.
Your track record thus far is as bad as fake news CNN and MSNBC. Are you finished doubling down on stupid yet?

Weve already covered this....
Youre a proven liar with little integrity used to sell your narrative and are an embarrassment to the Conservative cause. Go elsewhere.
But that's OK, maybe Cruz will have another shot in 2020.
Nice to see youre here to quickly defend your lying girlfriends honor. Who is the alpha in this arrangement?
Look, I don't really care who people like you support or don't support. It's a free country. And you'll never see me running to the moderator crying. You know who I'm talking about.
That being said, for me, who people throw their support behind does reveal a lot about them. Such as they might have other agendas, or they're incapable of reading a candidates actions, body language, demeanor or are unable to determine the credibility/honesty of individuals etc...Or for some folks they're simply not unable or not capable of making good decisions based on observations or the criteria available. It is what it is.
Btw, I have a question for ya. Were you or are you against Trump sitting down and having meetings with the North Koreans?
I asked because the individual who posted this article was 100% against them even meeting, even though Trump publicly told America, paraphrasing Trump, "It might work, it might not. If not, that's OK too. We'll see'. I was 100% for it and I am still confident will might work out.
We were raised on rassling with trolls.
Maybe Trump should stop listening to Bolton & Pompeo and do what he thinks is right?
The north is low on food. Whoever runs the country is trying to get President Trump nervous that everything they are working on will be ruined. They are hoping Trump will cave and give aid to North Korea so the government isnt murdered by the citizens. They are not as much in the dark as before. Who really knows what going on, Trump could be just letting Kim save face before he gives up his nukes or maybe China is just using him to mess with us because the trade talks and tariffs are hurting their economy. Either way we have control of what happens. We dont have to go to war to get rid of the North Korean Government. We can just starve them with our navy.
This is a good observation but I have somewhat of different analysis to why he does this; a lot of it is shifty pretense when in fact he yields immense power in the KWP power structure and over the military—from what we know. For his age, KJU has been showing considerable aggressiveness in his leadership and he started with that early on (he learned political terror and leadership as an understudy of his father, KJI, over a five year period or so), then moved on to execute his uncle (execution), his brother (assassination hit), and purged nearly 250 military and party officials from his father’s day and advanced more loyal people to the leadership of the core (and corps).
The question is, are the people he’s eliminating for or against making overtures to the US, is Kim eliminating the hardliners, and maybe he doesn’t quite feel safe enough yet to pull the trigger?
Because we know Kim, even if he wanted to, couldn’t simply make a deal unless he knew the opposition to it is completely wiped out.
I don’t know yet what to think about it. Maybe Trump knows something we don’t.
Btw, I have a question for ya. Were you or are you against Trump sitting down and having meetings with the North Koreans?
I asked because the individual who posted this article was 100% against them even meeting, even though Trump publicly told America, paraphrasing Trump, “It might work, it might not. If not, that’s OK too. We’ll see.”
I was 100% for it and I am still confident it might work out. How about you Mr. Jarhead?
Ive already answered this question. So go back and read my responses.
You answered my question? Can you quote it with a post# so I can at least look it up or direct link to your alleged response to the question?
Or why not just answer the question again, since I obviously missed your alleged response to the question asked at #56?
Is this too complex?
He clearly is taking exception with his policies with respect to N. Korea. For someone taking that stance Id rightly call it foolish ignorance too and naive to think you can reason and make nice with a mad man. While I may not agree that meeting him is foolish and ignorant to try to place a foot forward, I still do not think such belief to the contrary is anti anything.
So no I wasnt against him trying to talk to N. Korea however in retrospect I was an ignorant fool to believe that meeting fatboy the madman of the North would result in anything different than what is playing out. There is no hatred in that comment.
