After New York publicly celebrated its most expansive abortion bill, allowing abortion up to the point of birth in many cases and performed by non-doctors, a conservative Christian group launched a nationwide pro-life campaign that will culminate with an event in New York City to show that "every life is made in the image of God."
Focus on the Family's 12-week campaign, dubbed "See Life Clearly," leads up to a May 4 event called "Alive From New York" in the heart of Times Square.
Were looking to fill Times Square with pro-life Americans, and it will feature live music, compelling and inspirational speakers, and best of all, live 4-D ultrasounds broadcast on a massive digital marquee in Times Square, powerfully showing the world that a baby inside the womb is fully human and should be given the chance to be born, Focus on the Family announced.
Jim Daly, president of Focus on the Family, told LifeSiteNews they chose the location because it is known as "the crossroads of the world."
"And were at a crossroad as a nation regarding life," Daly said. "Do we really want to be part of the abortion axis of evil like China, North Korea, and Vietnam that allows abortion for any reason after 20 weeks? Were hearing from people all over the country who are disgusted by the blatant disregard for life. Enough is enough!

I pray for a good witness at the spot.
Arguing for the moment that the 4th dimension is time, isn’t it simply a time-lapse video on a two-dimensional screen, and thus 3-D, Length * Width * Time?
Unless it’s also R2D2’s “Help me, Obi-Wan...” holographic projection dealie.
(I read the article)
Ah, but vivid pro-life images of a living baby are not “free speech”.
(Submerging a crucifix in urine, dropping elephant dung on a picture of the Virgin Mary is “free speech” and must be paid for by public dollars, of course.)
The ultrasounds are that. Projections of them are not.
Here comes the judge.
(I predict: leftist judge will shut this down ASAP.)
Well, I guess if there are any higher dimensional beings that can actually view 4D images, they will appreciate it.
Um....Nope!
It’ll be a target of the usual illiberal-”liberal” finger-wagging campaign, but a court order? Not likely.
RE: I predict: leftist judge will shut this down ASAP.
There is this little thing called the First Amendment ....
The insane city will arrest them.
The real fight behind this is a spiritual one, not a legal one.
Let the godless try. If this is supported by enough prayer, it will blow back in their faces.
I hope it’s well interspersed with ads for adoption centers.
It (the leftist judge, just trying to use the right pronoun) might get overturned, but initially it will issue some kind of order to put a stop to this.
Amazing we cannot face the truth.
Godspeed, prolifer.
This very interesting article explains the differences between 2, 3, and 4-D sonograms. (I guess the 4 dimensions would be height, width, depth, and time). Basically, it's that the 4D sonogram is continuously updated. It becomes a moving image, like watching a movie.
Speaking of movie, here's the one-minute ad G.E. put out when it rolled out its 3D 4D sonogram in 2011.
I still choke up a little when I see it.
I agree that New York will attempt to shutdown showing the 4D images.
It is too compelling that when a woman in pregnant, she is pregnant with a baby. A living baby.
(I agree - I got choked up as well.)
The baby in utero is very powerful.
However, I really wish the happy couple were black, instead of suburban white people. The spot would then be far more hard hitting, IMO.
IOW, Planned Parenthood would be forced to defend their racist, classist founder.
This clip in my mind seems to subtly reinforce the absurd notion that babies are only a “choice” for financially stable, upper middle class white people, & everyone else needs an abortion.
I do know what you mean about the white, middle class image. “Not that there’s anything wrong with that,” but we do need to constantly reiterate that every baby is precious and deserves to live -— not just the planned, perfect and privileged.
Filling Times Square with pro-lifers isn’t going to get the message to baby killers.
