Pelosi: Barr committed a crime by lying to lawmakers [developing]

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday said Attorney General William Barr committed a crime by lying to lawmakers during his testimony on Capitol Hill.

"What is deadly serious about it is the attorney general of the United States of America was not telling the truth to the Congress of the United States. That's a crime," Pelosi said during a press conference.

Her comments come a day after Barr was grilled by Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee over his handling of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian election interference.

Barr was roundly criticized for his performance during the hearing, which came shortly after reports emerged that Mueller had expressed frustration with Barr's memo summarizing the report's key findings.

I would find it pure irony if Barr turned The Project On Government Oversight (POGO) loose on this bunch. After all, they are supposedly nonpartisan, lol. I haven’t heard anything about POGO in a couple of years, makes you really wonder.

I guess she missed the part of Barr’s testimony where he stated that notes were taken of the telephone conversation between him and Mueller. Go ahead airhead and impeach, make Barr’s day.

I would argue that the Pelosi crone has demonstrated she is incompetent to hold a congressional office. The DOJ has provided the full unredacted Mueller report for examination.

Pelosi has not visited the room to read the total unredacted report because she lacks the competence to understand what it says. Pelosi has tacitly admitted that she is unqualified to say or do anything about the Mueller report because she can not understand what is reported.

The same is true for every member of Nadler’s committee. Nadler has demonstrated that his committee members are incompetent to ask questions. On top of that, they lack the competence to read and understand the available unredacted Mueller Report

” DaNang Dick walked right into that trap.”

These investigation hearings can be fun.

The Republicans need to plant very explosive landmine questions that when answered incriminate the demoncrats.

Barr did some of this when he stated that he is investigating Russian Collusion in the Clintons with the dossier.

Enough if this and the Dems will surrender.

Time to include Clinton Foundation questions. How many corruption scandals can be found? Look at Pelosi, Shummer, Waters, ...... time to hire a team if top Republican pit bull investigators

> so when the indictments come down they can say they were in retaliation.

They’ll get exactly zero sympathy points for that as anyone who isn’t part of their cult knows they deserve retaliation in spades.

I would definitely agree with you and strongly suspect Pelosi suffers from the onset of dementia.

How does impeachment or convicting Barr of a crime work? They can’t do it alone, can they? Does the Senate have a say? I know how it works with a POTUS but not the AG. Surely they would have to prove it and they can’t, because he didn’t lie.

I heard she was exercising in the bathroom and the rubber bands on the exercise machine snapped. She narrowly avoided a black eye.

The Founders were creating a Republic where citizens would serve in the federal government for a short time and then go home. It was the first ever attempt at self-governance in the modern world. George Washington was the model when he refused to become King and went home after the war to retire to Mt. Vernon. Unfortunately, they didn’t anticipate career politicians and the rise of political parties. But, given their experience and the times, it would have been a very hard thing to predict and plan for. Maybe they were overly naive thinking that citizen legislators wouldn’t become power-crazed and were immune from the lust for more and more power.

This will all quiet down when Trump forms a commission and starts hauling some of these scumbags in and give them a choice, cooperate or be jailed

IF we were arresting people for lying, we’d not have a media to report that all the Democrat politicians are in prison.

In the founders’ day, people who would govern had honor and self-limited their terms.

They did not imagine the depths of depravity this great nation has endured.

unless they’re Democrats. Fixed it.
