Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday said Attorney General William Barr committed a crime by lying to lawmakers during his testimony on Capitol Hill.
"What is deadly serious about it is the attorney general of the United States of America was not telling the truth to the Congress of the United States. That's a crime," Pelosi said during a press conference.
Her comments come a day after Barr was grilled by Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee over his handling of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian election interference.
Barr was roundly criticized for his performance during the hearing, which came shortly after reports emerged that Mueller had expressed frustration with Barr's memo summarizing the report's key findings.

What a pathetic woman. To her, if Barr did not say something she agreed with, then he is lying, despite his statement and facts being right. This is also the woman who told the DHS secretary after a briefing that she didn’t believe her facts. Both Pelosi and Hirono are despicable people who deserve zero respect from the American people.
Then they need to impeach him. Good luck getting it thru the Senate though. Or possibly they could get a special prosecutor to bring charges against him. But Trump would and should pardon him in that case.
Pelosi is obstructing Justice. She’s trying to intimidate Barr because he wants to investigate the investigation. What do you have to hide Nancy?

False accusations should be a crime - notice they don’t provide the particulars, just the charge. The facts prove they are wrong but we don’t want to be confused with the facts.
DemocRAT strategy is to accuse the opposition of exactly what they are doing, in this case lying.
