Mueller expressed misgivings to Barr about 4-page letter
CNN ^

Posted on 04/30/2019 6:15:56 PM PDT by janetjanet998

Washington (CNN)Special counsel Robert Mueller expressed concerns in a letter to Attorney General William Barr that Barr's four-page letter to Congress summarizing the "principal conclusions" of Mueller's findings didn't fully capture his 448-page report, according to a source with knowledge of Mueller's letter. Later, Barr and Mueller spoke by phone and while Mueller didn't think Barr's letter was inaccurate, the special counsel believed his report was more nuanced on the obstruction of justice issue, according to Justice Department officials. Mueller was frustrated by media coverage, and wanted more of the report to come out, those officials told CNN.

The article clearly states that when Barr asked Mueller if there was anything inaccurate in his (Barr’s) synopsis, Mueller said no, he just didn’t like the way the media was characterizing it.

"...anything inaccurate..." ...or misleading. Nope.

Here’s your assignment, kids: Summarize this 448 page book, in no more than 4 pages, but make sure that every nuance of every theme is fully covered, and that it is impossible for anyone to note one fact from the 448 pages that isn’t reflected in your 4 pages... or else CNN will excoriate you with unnamed sources.

Watching a well orchestrated propaganda campaign conducted by dems and media. Setting the narrative. Repeating the lie. Creating as much smoke as possible to obscure reality. Pounding Trump and Barr to so when the offensive launches, dems cry “illegitimate.”

Half of Mueller report should have never been written. Either charge or don’t, but this speculation crap is just that, crap and is not up to Mueller to have included

Time for Trump to unleash Operation Marathon.

De-classify and release all communications between FBI Director Robert Mueller, DHS Sec. Jeh Johnson, CIA Director John Brennan, Russian intelligence and the White House regarding Tamerlan Tsarnaev prior to the Boston Marathon Bombing.

If what Louis Gohmert and others have hinted at is true, the level of treason and betrayal will horrify and outrage the nation, and properly portray the REAL Bob Mueller for all to see.

Please enlighten us, Robert. Why was your report so “nuanced”. Either you have the goods on Trump, or you don’t.

Mueller’s own fault for producing such horrible work product. He drew no conclusions, as was his job. Instead, he threw it all in Barr’s lap — a political dirty trick, knowing that the conclusions would then be drawn by Barr, a “Trump appointee,” thus keeping this fiction alive through yet another election cycle.

Two years and $45 million spent for nothing. You submitted your report, Mueller. Now just shut up and go away.

Even though Donald Trump is a gay-friendly President, he sure inspires hatred in the hearts of gay “conservatives” like Drudge and Napolitano.

The day before Barr testifies before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Coincidence?

Exactly. And the reason is to get something, anything, out there to diminish Mueller's tortured responses to Republican committee member inquiries tomorrow.

Needed more references to a pee pee video did it? Comeystain sure was interested in that facet of the investigation and tried to blackmail President Trump with threats of disclosing that salicious rumor.

I guess this shows anyone can become a lawyer, hell, even a Special Counsel. If a four page letter could have "fully capture(d) his 448 page report..." (which it wasn't designed to do) then there would be no point in a 448 page report, would there?

Barr lied about the main findings of the report. Pretty simple.

Really? Explain the facts you have that allow you to conclude the AG of the US is lying...and the article is telling the truth.

Mueller had one job with only two possible outcomes. Based on the evidence he could indict POTUS and or his people for conspiracy, collusion is not a crime, and or obstruction. Or based on the evidence he could decide not to indict. That’s it. No context. No nuance. Context and nuance are not in the perview of a prosecutor. Indict or do not indict. If you do not indict SHUT UP!!!!

I was under the impression that if one is under a criminal investigation, they’re either charged or they’re not. They’re either indicted or they’re not. They’re either found guilty or they’re not.

I don’t think any of us ever read about cases that don’t make it to a Grand Jury, where the media will then go on for weeks that the person in question is “kind of” guilty or there actually is some evidence.
