It used to be that we were told that Trump was fostering “Trump antisemitism” and driving a new wave of antisemitism in the US. But the cartoon depicts him as a Jew. Well, which is it? Is he fostering antisemitism, or is he now a closet Jew being led by Israel, depicted as a Jewish dog? We used to say that images “conjured up memories” of 1930s antisemitism. This didn’t conjure it up; this showed us exactly what it looked like.

It actually should not be surprising that the NYT ran this cartoon. To Leftists, its OK to be anti-Semitic, or racist or anti-gay, or misogynistic if your target is a conservative. Its happened over and over and over again. Conservatives are beneath human and evil, so its OK to say whatever you want about them. Trump and Netanyahu are two of the Left’s favorite boogeymen so the blind hatred takes over and makes it OK to say whatever they want.

It doesn’t matter what wire service it was downloaded from in the least. It was the editorial decision of the NYT to print it and they bear full responsibility.

Personally, I regard the Jerusalem Post with great disdain. The paper’s Anti-Armenian racism and their denial and mockery of the Armenian Genocide is damnable.
