Romney once again reminded us that he’s no Donald Trump when he wrote a screed criticizing the president in personal terms, swiping the president for “dishonesty” after reading a report written by partisans. That kind of virtue-signaling gets you loved by the press, but since the press just tried to destroy the presidency for the past two years, Romney’s on the wrong side.
He can’t help himself. He’s trying to fill the shoes of John McCain, while at the same time pandering to the Sister Bertha Better-Than-Yous of the nation. Here we are after the Mueller report, full of the knowledge that the Democrats and their media sycophants have tried and failed to pull off a coup, and former losing presidential candidate Mitt Romney once again poked his head up, taking the Democrats’ side.

The adoring press will continue to praise his tirades against Trump and conservatives and push his nomination for the Republican ticket.
If their promotions are successful and Romney clinches the nomination (ain't gonna happen), the press will drop him like a hot potato to get their own Dem candidate elected.
Happened to McCain, happened to Romney. Could happen again.
Romney's a fool if he thinks he can make nice with the media today and they will support him in the general election. They won't.
The Illuminati/globalists have not behaved well as they've been striving to claw their way back to complete control of the Republican Party. They first achieved that situation when George 1 became President. I do think, with Traitor Ryan engineering it, they deliberately threw the House majority, to make that happen.
Yeah, they're sacrificing the nation because it fits their long term globalist agenda.

Here's another aspect to my thinking. History. No Empire survives so much over-reach. The US Empire will be brought down by the non-compatible elements it brings in. Non-compatible elements are for all purposes invasive species. And we know what that does in other aspects of Biology.

Isn't it telling that all those "me too" ers never bring up that wife Anne was brought into the Romney household as a teen and groomed to be a good Mormon wife? And that they don't say anything about things like the Mormon "religion" dictating what underwear she can wear?
I remember the Democrats went all out between the time Romney clinched the nomination and the GOP Convention with attack ads about Romney’s time at Bain. He was blamed for giving people cancer and they had people talk about their livelihoods were destroyed after Bain took over their workplace.

It is immensely unpopular even here in the land of free speech to denigrate Mittens for his religious motivation. Nevertheless I persist.
The Mormon faith holds that a high and mighty Mormon will evolve into the god of a planet, or planetary system. Thus it becomes the virtue of every Mormon luminary to aspire to become the god of some planet somewhere in the universe.
There is absolutely no doubt but that Mittens carries just such a promise in his heart. His behavior can best be explained by his religion. He is a god in training. His every utterance is spoken as from Mt Olympus, the home of the Greek gods.
His pretension is glaring and nauseating. He is among those whose personal sense of entitlement sets them apart from the rabble, the deplorable.
His claim that Trump is unfit can best be understood by the following:
This “vulgar and crude” trope is particularly interesting. A perusal of Gospel scripture finds numerous instances of Jesus being accused of much the same crimes.
He associated with known criminals.
He broke the laws of Moses.
He consorted with harlots.
He assaulted authority figures.
He made outrageous claims about himself.
He was a scoundrel.
Jesus taunted important people.
The high and mighty hated him. They accused him of inciting violence and other nasty things. Not only is Trump not Jesus, Jesus was not Jesus according to the woke of his day. Why, after all, do you believe they killed him? And why are these same luminaries going after Trump with blood in their eyes?

I'd be suspicious of anyone the media praises.
It should be noted that the entire surviving McCain family has come out to endorse Joe Biden for president.
Assuming that Romney will eventually do so as well, I think it is time for President Trump to send a small delegation to Utah to speak with the LDS church hierarchy about their elevating a primary challenger to Romney, in exchange for President Trump not coming down on them like a ton of bricks.
Right now, the ton of bricks is the default, for their poor judgment in elevating the wiener dog in the first place.
