Similar hearings with Mueller, former White House counsel Donald McGahn and other key witnesses could do the same today.”
Former Nixon W.H. counsel John Dean, on “AC360,” said “I do agree with her. You have to educate the public. That’s what happened during Watergate. That’s what she’s suggesting should happen again. And that’s the only way to really, politically, move forward - is to have an informed electorate. They are not today.”

Well thank goodness somebody is going to have Watergate style hearings. I have been wondering why the GOP was not doing this for two years now. But of course the stupid party never seems to get things right.

I don’t think their strategy is to force him out of office. They wouldn’t dare. What they are counting on is a Muller type investigation 2.0 even more elaborate than the first, more tv coverage non stop that would run through election cycle 2020 and turn public opinion so much against him that he gets voted out of office. Trump understands this and has made it clear he is not going with it.

Aw! Come on! They helped pass laws against lynching, being mean to bugs and celebrating Pretty Flowers Day. They might also have bumped up their own salaries... I confess, I haven’t been paying attention.

She also wanted no legal representation for Nixon.
