Washington (CNN)A federal judge in Oregon announced Tuesday he will issue a preliminary injunction against federal restrictions that prohibit taxpayer-funded family planning clinics from referring patients to abortion providers, according to The Oregonian. US District Judge Michael J. McShane called the federal restriction a "ham-fisted approach to public health policy," but has yet to issue a formal written opinion in the case, according to the outlet, which also said McShane was "reluctant to set 'national health care' policy and would describe the scope of his injunction in a formal written opinion soon." The case was brought by 20 states -- including Oregon -- as well as Planned Parenthood affiliates and the American Medical Association, according to The Oregonian. Plantiffs seeking a national injunction against the rule, which goes into effect May 3. McShane, the outlet reported, said the rule "prevents doctors from behaving like medical professionals" and found that it would lead to a series of significant results, including "an increase in abortions due to more unwanted pregnancies." He also said it "represents an 'arrogant assumption' that government is better suited to direct health care instead of providers."

I wonder if this judge has issued opinions upholding Obozocare.

Enough already with these peon district Federal judges issuing NATIONWIDE rulings against Trump.

SCOTUS needs to slap down these judges for overreaching their jurisdictions.

This judges rulings are “ham-fisted” and based on his liberal bias rather than the Constitution. No doubt in my mind he has no problems with a CA law requiring anti-abortion healthcare clinics being required to tell patients about abortions. Hypocrite is the single word that so aptly describes most democrats and democrat judges.

Judges who warn they’ll overturn something like a governor would warn of a veto

What an absolute abuse of office

If he can find the “right to abort babies” in the Constitution, he might have a case.

Does it need saying?

“On September 19, 2012, President Obama nominated McShane to serve as a United States District Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, to the seat vacated by Judge Michael R. Hogan who took senior status on September 24, 2011.[4] On January 2, 2013, his nomination was returned to the President, due to the sine die adjournment of the Senate. On January 3, 2013, he was renominated to the same office. His nomination was reported by the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 7, 2013, by voice vote.[5] The Senate confirmed his nomination on May 20, 2013, by voice vote. He received his commission on May 30, 2013.[3]” Courtesy of Wikipedia

US District Judge Michael J. McShane is another Barack Obama stooge, that chief justice John Roberts swears do not exist, that is paying Obama back for his appointment.

One judge in a single district can lock up the whole country. They really need to change this.
