Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Kamala Harris said she supports having a third gender option on federal ID forms as she continues to campaign heavily on social justice issues.
The California Democrat was asked about the issue during an event at Keene State College in New Hampshire on Tuesday. “Sure,” she replied, according to multiple media reports.

That was exactly my first thought. How offensive will it be to be simply ‘other’? This still gives significant preference to male and female.
I really think they need to go to the term “sex” rather than “gender” — go by chromosomes, not feelings or judging by how someone looks. Dems claim to be the party of science, let them abide by the science.
