Why I support Trump but not the GOP

I do not support the Republican Party – I support President Trump. I am neither an ideologue nor am I a sycophant who is willing to sell my soul for a pat on the head or an invitation to some event.

I supported Donald Trump because I knew he was exactly what America needed. He’s a blue-collar billionaire and bare-knuckle brawler from Queens, who knew how to get projects done ahead of time and under budget. He has an economics degree from the Wharton School, which means he actually understands economics.

I knew that Donald Trump would make a great president because he wasn’t just a competent businessman, but he embodied the essentials that are requisite for success – and he was honest.

Had there been anything remotely damaging in his career as the man who built a global hotel, real estate, golfing and casino empire, those trying to prevent him from winning the Republican nomination would have found it. The amount of opposition research done against him has been unprecedented.

The Republican Party leadership and the vaporous wraiths that operate from the shadowy sidelines did everything in their power to derail Donald Trump. They were not concerned about you and me, the voters. They weren’t and still aren’t concerned about the security of America.

Most of them are just PO'd that cher and bono and beyonce et al, aren't making weekly appearances at the WH anymore. Where did all the lavish soiree's go? No drunkin' shenanigans to attend to. I mean WTH? That's not the kind of president they wanted. All 'parties' from both sides of the alley included. The 'rnc' doesn't call me anymore. Nor the aarp. And that's good.

The GOP hasn’t been on the side of the citizens and the rule of law since GHW Bush took over the party.

The citizens have had no representation for 30 years.
The GOP is still dominated by Bush League Republicans that are still hell bent on turning the USA into North Mexico.

“... still hell bent on turning the USA into North Mexico.” And ensuring their wealth too. Can’t forget that.

It’s simple. President Trump is a Sovereignist. The Democrats and GOPe are globalists. Different goals entirely.

I will always vote exclusively for the Party that freed the slaves, and hope for the best.

I get RNC Donation letters all the time. I get eMails almost daily. Some of it is supported by Trump, and some of it just uses his name to get dollars.

I shred and delete those requests for money.

If I ever donate, it will be directly to his campaign.

I detest the GOPe. I detest the RNC. Neither has done a single thing for us, and Trump wouldn’t even be president if they had their way.

I support Trump, but that does not mean I supported Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.

Both parties are our enemy. Neither has fallen in behind Trump to make sure we get as much done as possible, while we have the opportunity.

I have never seen a party shun it’s own president, to prevent anything from getting done. I’ve waded through hundreds of letter begging me to help give the Republicans the majority so they could get things done, bring the nation back from the brink.

Then we got them the majority, and Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell were revealed to have no list at all, of things they wanted to change/improve upon.

The Republican Party is dead to me.

I vote for the best candidates which always wind up being the Republican, but I know nothing will change.

It has never been more clear that we have just one party back in Washington, D. C.

No, the Republicans don’t introduce as bad a legislation as the Democrats, but they don’t lift a finger to undo any of the nonsense the Left has passed over the years.

It’s very frustrating. Trump is alone in Washington. If it weren’t for us he wouldn’t be president, but it’s the Washington GOPe that blocks him as much as the Democrats do.

I’m not sure the Republican party can survive the end of the Trump presidency.

Ha! I could have written that headline. I’ve said for over a year that our situation is not Republican vs Democrats. It’s Trump vs the deep state (d’s and r’s both).

Want proof? With an R majority, he didn’t get the wall.

I return the request with a note such as:

Nice job on the midterms. $->DJT, not the RNC.

Good one...

I question if we can even trust them to route it correctly, as directed.

The Republican Party leadership... did everything in their power to derail Donald Trump. They were not concerned about you and me, the voters. They weren’t and still aren’t concerned about the security of America...

I donate directly to the candidates of my choice...

Giving my money to leadership groups guarantees candidates I oppose will be funded.

Republicans are notorious for making promises when they’re not in the majority. Then as soon as they secure the majority again, they wave hello to us with their thumb to their noses...

WOO HOO You go Mr. Massie. Sing it loud, long and strong.

It’s meant to let them know that I send bucks directly to Trump. I would never trust them to forward $$. I put a stamp on the envelopes to DJT, not the RNC’s.

“The GOP is still dominated by Bush League Republicans that are still hell bent on turning the USA into North Mexico.”

Just looking at the US Senate (which in its current configuration, I’d vote to get rid of in its entirety) in the next two General Elections, there are a total of 43 GOP Senators up for re-election. Can you honestly say that there is one of these miserable f*ckers you would vote for but for the fact that in not doing so, you might hand the Senate over to the RATS?

From my perspective, the GOP has shown itself to be corrupt to such an extent that, just like the DNC, it should be dismantled, disbanded and new parties formed *after* some very harsh legislation is crafted in the interim that actually serves to control the grotesque corruption and abuse of power by federal officials, elected and otherwise.

Real penalties with the harshest possible punishments.
With great power should come equally great risk to self for abusing that power.

Oh, and term limits on SES, too, and bust the federal employees unions.

😹. We must be fortunate indeed then. No worries about a "conservative" candidate from NV to choose. 🙀
