A 20-year-old college students Reddit post about the worst, most backwards day of her life is gaining traction online after she recounted how she was dropped on the side of the road by an Uber driver who disagreed with her decision to get an abortion

dp0622 is right to call this into question. This is a conservative board and therefore we are dedicated to finding the truth.
Because, in the words of Alexander Pope: We have snatched from His hand the balance and the rod, rejudged His justice become the god of God.
There’s no conscience anymore, much less shame. To her, getting an abortion is no different than getting a haircut.
Perhaps you also cannot capriciously throw babies in the trash can either?
If anybody here deserves a GoFundMe, it’s the fired Uber driver. I’d contribute to it myself.
What stupid thing to mention to a stranger!
We used to have an abortion mill here in Melbourne. I used to drive a cab here in town. One day I got a call to pick up a woman and take her to the “store”. Once she got in the cab she stated that she wanted to go to the “Aware Woman” butcher shoppe up on US#1. I let my dispatcher know that I didn’t want any part of that, and let her out of the cab. Another company picked her up. Didn’t get a tip. But, I never lost a moment of sleep either.
She gave him the address of an abortion mill.
He knew what the place was.
Why would anyone on a conservative forum insist people should be forced to participate in a trip to go dismember a baby?
And since when is not participating in something “punishing” those who are? That’s a damned sick assertion.
Fraud
To the several people on the board wondering how he knew she was planning to kill her baby, he probably figured it out from the address.
The Uber company is wrong for terminating him for this reason. No one should be forced to drive someone else to commit a crime or amoral act. Most businesses have a sign posted stating that they have the right to refuse service to anyone. Back when I was a store clerk, I exercised that right, for a number of reasons. If I were driving for such a company, I would not take women to kill their babies, either.
God Bless Him!
I can’t answer nonsense.
Read my post fully next time.
And drop the stone you are holding.
It’s Easter time.
Act like Christ for a weekend at least, if you don’t the rest of the year.
Didn’t he come to be AMONG the sinners?
You definitely sound like you might be one of the folks with the rock in his hand.
Catechism of the Catholic Church
1868: Sin is a personal act. Moreover, we have a responsibility for the sins committed by others when we cooperate in them:
- by participating directly and voluntarily in them;
- by ordering, advising, praising, or approving them;
- by not disclosing or not hindering them when we have an obligation to do so;
- by protecting evil-doers.
Good man
We can’t agree on everything.
No 2 people ever do.
Then try talking her out of it.
She GONNA get there.
And the next guy isn’t gonna give a #### except take the money and take her.
At least there was a CHANCE with him talking to her.
Like I said, on Easter weekend, what does one think Jesus would do?
That gets lost WAY TOO OFTEN her among “Christians”..
Drop her off at a crisis pregnancy center instead.
Prematurely aborted from an Uber without consideration or consent.
Thats too bad.
Let me be the first.
Abortion is murder of a human life. The Uber driver was correct in trying to stop it.
Pity you can't see that.
