Ms. Wright has a pretty good memory, since the Netherlands was entirely liberated by mid-May 1945, at which time she could not have been more than 4 years and one month old.

It’s only stressful because the Remoaners have refused to carry out the democratically expressed will of the people thus breaking their word in the process, because the people made a choice the Remoaners did not approve of.

She’s lived in Britain 51 years.

The Maastrichr treaty that created the EU was signed in 1993.

How did she live in Britain before that?

Had the Nazis and Hitler never existed, would the Left have invented them?

Perhaps if their reps had done what the voters said to do, it wouldn’t be so stressful.

But let’s talk about nazi boots or something.

For reals? They’re comparing Brexit to the Blitzkrieg? Brexkrieg? Where’s Winston Churchill when you need him? Sheesh.

Wait a minute. If she’s 77 now, that means she was born in 1942 and the war ended in 1945 which means she was at most three years old when Hitler was marching Jews past her basement window. Methinks the lady doth lie through her teeth.

i still am not understanding if and when the UK would be “required” to hold MEP elections...

eg, what could happen, at least in theory, if the UK simply “forgot” to hold MEP elections?

Just when some thought a conclusion could be drawn, Britain’s departure was delayed by six months at an emergency EU summit this week. Whether in favor of exit or hoping to stay, the long argument just got longer, and, for many more stressful.

That is the whole idea of the delay.
