White House officials have tried to pressure U.S. immigration authorities to release detainees onto the streets of "sanctuary cities" to retaliate against President Donald Trump's political adversaries, according to Department of Homeland Security officials and email messages reviewed by The Washington Post.
Trump administration officials have proposed transporting detained immigrants to sanctuary cities at least twice in the past six months - once in November, as a migrant caravan approached the U.S. southern border, and again in February, amid a standoff with Democrats over funding for Trump's border wall.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's district in San Francisco was among those the White House wanted to target, according to DHS officials. The administration also considered releasing detainees in other Democratic strongholds.

Some lawyers at ICE said it was fine and DHS enforced Obama’s wishes.
I do not think it extreme that President Trump should have a plan that makes sense.
I think any self-declared sanctuary city should be a destination for all those who are overwhelming our border cities and states. They claim to be so concerned about people, let them share their generosity with those they claim to support (from a distance).
All those lawbreakers should be TATOOED on back of hand with something that lasts for a year immediately upon arrival anywhere! That will be of GREAT help later on.....during their paid vacation on the USA !

Hell nobama did it throughout the south and rural areas in the country and has hosed up and cause many otherwise safe communities to now begin to suffer with out of touch immigrants who then solicit others (illegals) and all things began to get F’ed up and on and on down hill...he did that to punish the red states and conservatives...he / they looked at the demographics, can tell you that for sure...so what goes round comes round...and now that’s a prob?
Feel sorry for some of those folks place in those spots as they didn’t know sh*t what or where the hell they were, didn’t fit in and actually didn’t even want to be here truth be known in many cases, especially the children!
It is only logical and right. Sanctuary cities are nothing other than a local political claim that the illegal migrants are O.K. to be illegal if they want. Therefor, why shouldn’t that kind of “acceptance” be “rewarded” with all the new illegals who come. They wanted it, they accept it, so they deserve it.

This is a great idea. Millions of people across the “hinterlands” and fly-over country are in favor of it. Many thousands should be flown to Hawaii, too. Their Senator loves them!
How about we release them back across the border?
I’ve been advocating this for months. Bus them all to Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties, Chicago, K Street in DC, Austin TX, and just for grins Martha’s Vineyard. (Yes I know you have to take a ferry to MV.)
