Sean Hannity: Hate-filled Dems can't handle the truth about the Trump campaign being spied on
Fox News.com ^ | April 11, 2019 | Sean Hannity

Posted on 04/11/2019 9:45:15 AM PDT by Kaslin

We are now inching closer and closer to truth and to justice, and we're holding those who abuse power accountable. For two years on "Hannity," we have watched a political persecution, all based on lies and a hoax driven by anti-Trump hatred, and literally wrecking the very fabric of our society.

Attorney General William Barr went before the Senate Appropriations Committee on Wednesday and the boomerang that I have been telling you about is in motion and headed right back in the direction that I told you it would head. He delivered a bombshell development during his testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee - that the Trump campaign was spied on 2016, exactly what we have been telling you for more than two years.

This is downright scary for every single American. This is not political -- not Democrat, Republican, not blue, not red -- it is not about politics. We gave our law enforcement officials, our intelligence officials, the most powerful tools of intelligence, -- they are never to be weaponized against we, the American people, much less a political campaign at the height of an election or to undo an election. Where are all of the several libertarians on the left? Where are the liberals calling for investigations?

We've got Jerry Nadler, Chuck Schumer, Richard Blumenthal, who are freaking out. They are calling the attorney general retract his truthful remarks about the Trump campaign being spied on. They clearly can't handle the truth. Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that Barr was "off the rails."

"Let me just say how very, very dismaying and disappointing that the chief law enforcement officer of our country is going off the rails," she said. "He is the attorney general of the United States of America, not the attorney general of Donald Trump."

It isn’t that they “can’t handle the truth”, they just don’t want the rest of us to find out the truth.

spy

/spī/

noun 1. a person who secretly collects and reports information on the activities, movements, and plans of an enemy or competitor.

.

...... Well ...... Looking at the above dictionary definition of the word ... "SPY" .... it is easy to see why the Democrats are busy attempting damage control before the Crap hits the proverbial fan ....

Hannity...Like him or lump him, he is one heck of a good Allie. Sometimes annoying with his repetitiveness on his talking points but that’s a-ok with me.

I see three basic reactions that one might expect from Democrats:

1) Genuine shock and contrition -- upset that Obama and Hillary might do such a thing, and a determination to make sure justice was done (we all know that this would never be their actual reaction)

2) The Claude Raines reaction from "Casablanca": feigned shock that such a thing could have happened, and a "sincere" promise that it won't happen again ("let's move on")

3) Counter-attacking because spying on Trump is morally correct and if the AG has a problem with domestic spying, then the AG should be destroyed.

The fact that the Dems are blatantly going with Option #3 is not surprising but it is really dismaying. They are seriously awful people.

Why is it that the Dems cannot handle AG Barr taking on issues that were committed by them?
Is it that they believe the connection is just like Obama/Holder? *
“”I’m still enjoying what I’m doing, there’s still work to be done. I’m still the President’s wing-man, so I’m there with my boy. So we’ll see,” Holder said in an interview on the Tom Joyner radio show.” 4/4/13

Targeting a campaign is the same as targeting the people. Had they been successful in removing trump, it would be tantamount to denying the vote to all who voted for him.

Ballots or bullets.

I wish he had not said “I think.” If he knows, he should have just said that it occurred. If he is not sure, he should have said only that he was looking into the matter. As it is, the Rats will say that he showed bias in favor of the charge.

Today the script is “it was NOT spying!” By the end of next week, they will have pivoted to “everybody does it.”

“What did the President know and when did he know it?”

This question MUST be asked incessantly, just as it was back during Watergate.

“It isn’t that they “can’t handle the truth”, they just don’t want the rest of us to find out the truth.”

Beat me to it.

The Left has always been about manipulating the public with lies, to gain political power.

Being a good liar, and effectively promoting the Party’s “narrative”, are the main criteria for selecting their candidates. They have been competing with each other on that basis for their whole careers.

Karl Marx himself extensively and consciously falsified the facts to support his big sweet sounding lie, explicitly designed to help take power (he was a failed and exiled coup plotter, before he even set about dreaming up a more effective platform narrative).

Lying is the fundamental basis of the Left - all the vanguard of the Party know it. The rest are just useful idiots.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Clapper admit that the Trump campaign was spied upon? And weren’t there 4 FISA warrants authorizing the spying? I thought so.

There is a #4:

4) Insisting that what was previously reported in plain sight actually never, in hindsight, happened, and demanding that those who still think so publicly recant, apologize, and genuflect to the Democrat party line.

That's where the Democrats go with everything. It's not enough for them to destroy someone; they first want the person to totally supplicate themselves to the righteous superiority of the Democrats before being destroyed.
