JULIAN Assange has been arrested by British police today after spending seven years hiding in the Ecuadorian Embassy.

The WikiLeaks founder, 47, was taken into custody after failing to surrender to the court in 2012 - and has spent 2,487 days holed up in the West London embassy.

We need to see how the Mueller Report treats Assange. Will Deep State extract a confession of Russian collusion from Assange possibly implicating members of the Trump campaign in exchange for immunity?

Or will Assange blow claims of Russian involvement in the DNC and Podesta hacks out of the water by proving that the material came from Seth Rich? This would be a serious blow to the credibility of the US Intel community and it would destroy completely the Dem narrative that the Russians hacked the DNC and Podesta.

Hard to overstate the importance of this arrest.

Bogus charges? There is no doubt that Assange did serious damage to our national security by his release of millions of USG cables. Manning was charged and convicted of his part in this debacle. Obama commuted Manning’s sentence, but the conviction remains.

And by having released state secrets he has earned the wrath of states.
Not inconsistent to appreciate what he did, and expect his incarceration.

I suspect that Assange has a dead man’s switch set to dump incriminating evidence on many many more important people in all parts of the world.

I'm suspicious by nature and would take a good guess that those who have been wanting him in custody have been working feverishly to short circuit any such dead-man's switch before they take him.

If true, it would seem that Julian's arrest has proven that their efforts have been successful. We shall see.
