Bravo! Great TV Shows!
My Results Are:
You got 9 out of 10 Fab! You're clearly in the groove when the channel's tuned to '60s TV. Of course, that no doubt says something about my age, too. LOL! |

Freep mail me to be on or off the Daily Bread ping list
April 10Through the Valley
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Psalm 23:4
Hae Woo (not her real name) was imprisoned in a North Korean labor camp for crossing the border into China. The days and nights were torture, she said, with brutal guards, backbreaking work, and little sleep on an ice-cold floor with rats and lice. But God helped her daily, including showing her which prisoners to befriend and share her faith with.
After she was released from the camp and living in South Korea, Woo reflected on her time of imprisonment, saying that Psalm 23 summed up her experience. Although shed been trapped in a dark valley, Jesus was her Shepherd who gave her peace: Even though it felt as if I was literally in a valley full of the shadow of death, I wasnt afraid of anything. God comforted me every day. She experienced Gods goodness and love as He reassured her that she was His beloved daughter. I was in a terrible place, but I knew . . . I would experience Gods goodness and love. And she knew shed stay in the Lords presence forever.
We can find encouragement in Woos story. Despite her dire circumstances, she felt Gods love and leading; and He sustained her and took away her fear. If we follow Jesus, He will lead us gently through our times of trouble. We need not fear, for [we] will dwell in the house of the Lord forever (23:6).

Today's Reflection
When have you experienced Gods presence in a dark valley? Who can you encourage today?

Hi Luv. Sez here this week that I spent too much time watching Miami Vice and not enough time watching Mannix.
You got 7 out of 10
Don’t sweat it! That just means there’s more ‘60s TV to watch. Maybe dig on this sitcom you may have missed: Car 54, Where Are You?
To: LUV W
I got 8 out of 10. I had to guess at many questions.
It read : “Fab - You’re in the groove” or some thing like that.

10 for 10
Is that necessarily a good thing?
(btw...I watched a few episodes of Green Acres over the winter, and had to chuckle at their sometimes-used references to “wetbacks”)

8/10. Since I spent so much of the sixties in the military not watching TV, I’m surprised I did as well as I did.

We watched very little TV. This was the Navy, running watch-stander schedules that, I guess, weren’t conducive to getting ‘hooked’ on TV series.

Yeah, I can get that. My hubby was AF and was home every evening so we did watch. That’s when you could watch without cringing. LOL!
