Last May, an elderly man was admitted to the Brooklyn branch of Mount Sinai Hospital for abdominal surgery. A blood test revealed that he was infected with a newly discovered germ as deadly as it was mysterious. Doctors swiftly isolated him in the intensive care unit.
The germ, a fungus called Candida auris, preys on people with weakened immune systems, and it is quietly spreading across the globe. Over the last five years, it has hit a neonatal unit in Venezuela, swept through a hospital in Spain, forced a prestigious British medical center to shut down its intensive care unit, and taken root in India, Pakistan and South Africa.
Recently C. auris reached New York, New Jersey and Illinois, leading the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to add it to a list of germs deemed urgent threats.
The man at Mount Sinai died after 90 days in the hospital, but C. auris did not. Tests showed it was everywhere in his room, so invasive that the hospital needed special cleaning equipment and had to rip out some of the ceiling and floor tiles to eradicate it.
Everything was positive the walls, the bed, the doors, the curtains, the phones, the sink, the whiteboard, the poles, the pump, said Dr. Scott Lorin, the hospitals president. The mattress, the bed rails, the canister holes, the window shades, the ceiling, everything in the room was positive.
C. auris is so tenacious, in part, because it is impervious to major antifungal medications, making it a new example of one of the worlds most intractable health threats: the rise of drug-resistant infections.

You’d think they’d be able to pinpoint the origin.
The map shows the first instance about ten years ago in Pakistan. The article says it arose simultaneously. ?????
This is quite serious.
To immediately combat this strange new super mutant virus, we take the following steps.
1. Make Socialism/Communism illegal.
2. Deport all moslems from the west.
3. Make sure everyone has access to firearms in the west.
They do female genital mutilation in Pakistan. Maybe like HIV, it started as a result of perverted activities like FGM.
Weird hype.
Now:
Any questions?
It is occurring all over the world simultaneously. This is the curse of modern air travel.
Scary how it was all over everything in the Mt. Sinai hospital:
Tests showed it was everywhere in his room, so invasive that the hospital needed special cleaning equipment and had to rip out some of the ceiling and floor tiles to eradicate it. It's not a virus, it's a fungus. Yeast.
Pinpointing patient zero is a long arduous process that can take years in some cases. If patient zero, presumably long dead by now, was in a country that record keeping was nonexistent at best, they may never find patient zero. They might be able to determine the region through cluster analysis of tracing back the clusters but even then patient zero may never be found only the region from where it might have originated. Also because of international travel, the original cluster may not indicate where the fungus originally came from but only where it originally spread.
Thus pinpointing the origin is not like you see in the movies and television. It’s a very long arduous process of combing through thousands if not millions of cases that have any resemblance to the signs and symptoms presented. The fungus could have also mutated and is now on generation N making it all that much harder to pinpoint the origin. Again it took 5 years to come to the US, it might 10 to 15 years to find the original cluster. From which a patient zero can be deduced if they get lucky, but this may or may not be where it originated.
Two pictures.....worth two thousand words.
Complicating that, there are four genetic types that seem to have evolved independently of each other over the past 4,000 years. Quite unusual.
Candida Auris is NOT a newly discovered “germ” (its a common fungus) but was a scare that made the rounds in the popular press in the mid70s and was accused of causing everything from cancer to autism to AIDS. SHEESH!
Normally, I would call this comment 'sarcasm', but the Dhimmis are so far off the wall, it is conceivable that they might even try something like this!

I don’t see how we can do otherwise.
I pronounce your 3 steps: Settled Science!
I wonder if they ever bothered to find out where the elderly man at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC had traveled to, or who he had been in contact with, before he died 3 months later.
supposedly there is an UV light device that hospitals put in a room that is supposed to kill everything in the room in minutes-

Don’t know if it works on yeast or not?
My sister in law had a fungal infection in her throat and mouth. The docs had a very difficult time getting control of it. She would kick it, get healthy, and then months later it would come back.
I asked my brother if she was still smoking. (They live on the other side of the US. I haven’t “seen” her in a couple of years.)
Yeah, she still smokes regularly and grows her own weed. I asked if she used pesticides or anti-fungals on her “garden.”
Well, yeah. He told me. Otherwise the bugs would get everything because they are in Florida.
I shook my head and figured they are living in the right state.
He is a great guy and I love him. His wife is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Thank you for your explanation. I know others will read it and give it the attention and respect it deserves.
