I get it, you’re just trolling.

I get it, youre just trolling. No, I just woke up to the truth. As much as my mother wanted to shove Catholicism down the throats of her four children, every one of us wound up rejecting it.

Like I said, trolling.
Go read Romans 14.
It is before his own Master that he stands or falls; and he will stand, for God is able to make him stand.

You just made my point. God is able to make him stand. Not some ancient body part. Not JC's mom. Not some other human catholics have deified. Just God. That's who people need to pray to. That's who people should worship. No middleman needed.

Your contortions are amusing. So praying directly to God is a contortion?! That just goes to show how screwed up a catholic's mind can get. Look at all the things you pray to when God is the only one you should be praying to.

I kinda prefer:
Philippians 2:5-11 King James Version (KJV)
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Sorry; but THIS is the ONLY human that I find in scripture that is a valid role model.
Be ye perfect as...

Cowboy Poetry
by Bill Jones
Jake, the rancher, went one day
to fix a distant fence.
The wind was cold and gusty
and the clouds rolled gray and dense.
As he pounded the last staples in
and gathered tools to go,
The temperature had fallen,
the wind and snow began to blow.
When he finally reached his pickup,
he felt a heavy heart.
From the sound of that ignition,
he knew it wouldn't start.
So Jake did what most of us
would do if we had been there.
He humbly bowed his balding head
and sent aloft a prayer.
As he turned the key for the last time,
he softly cursed his luck.
They found him three days later,
frozen stiff in that old truck.
Now Jake had been around in life
and done his share of roaming.
But when he saw Heaven, he was shocked --
it looked just like Wyoming!
Of all the saints in Heaven,
his favorite was St. Peter.
(Now, this line ain't needed
but it helps with rhyme and meter)
So they set and talked a minute or two,
or maybe it was three.
Nobody was keeping' score --
in Heaven time is free.
"I've always heard," Jake said to Pete,
"that God will answer prayer,
But one time I asked for help,
well, he just plain wasn't there."
"Does God answer prayers of some,
and ignore the prayers of others?
That don't seem exactly square --
I know all men are brothers."
"Or does he randomly reply,
without good rhyme or reason?
Maybe, it's the time of day,
the weather or the season."
"Now I ain't trying to act smart,
it's just the way I feel.
And I was wondering', could you tell me --
what the heck's the deal?!"
Peter listened very patiently
and when Jake was done,
There were smiles of recognition,
and he said, "So, you're the one!!"
"That day your truck, it wouldn't start,
and you sent your prayer a flying,
You gave us all a real bad time,
with hundreds of us trying."
"A thousand angels rushed,
to check the status of your file,
But you know, Jake, we hadn't heard
from you in quite a long while."
"And though all prayers are answered,
and God ain't got no quota,
He didn't recognize your voice,
and started a truck in Minnesota."

Every other Christian religion branches off from Catholicism Judism, starting with some folks from Antioch, about 2000 years ago.
I said that.
...the Jews are wrong. They didn't recognize him as their savior, so once the Jewish religion was fulfilled (through Jesus), the mantle was passed on through to Peter, and that traces down through the Catholic Church.

Sometimes things need to be restated with slightly different wording.
