Even with the 33rd Ward race still too close to call, five socialists is the most in Chicago since the 1910s, a decade in which the city was a hub of the radical left in America.

The income tax rate used to be 3 percent, so the leftists have already been hard at work. Many Illinois residents are relocating.

They control only 1/10th of the city council? Actually, I thought they already controlled 10/10ths of the city council.

COULD THIS BE WHY CHICAGOANS ARE SEEING RATS ?
The city of Chicago is composed of 50 wards which average out to around 72 precincts of about 350 or more voters in each precinct. Many are former villages incorporated into the city as the city grew. . A Chicago Alderman is in effect a mini mayor. They have input into who gets city services and now it’s how those services are being administered seem to be running into who’s ward is it ?.

What’s not being looked at is how Chicago wards have been redistricted. Chicago has had neighborhoods divided to create “Hispanic”residential sections going to Hispanic aldermanic and congressional (Gutierez) candidates and blacks going to black candidates.Which apparently is the result of the turnover in the Freddie and Fanny mortgage collapse. As stable integrated areas changed into being unstable because of constant dwelling turnover.had the effect of breaking up a contiguous geographic continuity and community identity. Because the wards affected which are really like small towns have had sections broken up into areas where if a problem arises in a given section of street which has one way traffic only. It may be two way a block down because it’s in a different ward. The same applies to all other city services including zoning and sanitation where garbage collection routes are organized by ward boundaries,

50 year Alderman Burke who is under federal charges for corruption ward is an example. Burke’s ward ,14th, needed remapping . The 14th was originally known as “Back of The Yards” Once the home of the famous Chicago Stock Yards where most food processors along with employee demographics have since relocated. It was a compact area almost 15 plus city blocks square area composed mostly of single and 2 story frame and brick family dwellings mixed with scattered brick apartment units. Because of the construction, insurance rates varied and became known as the condemned as “redlining”. When the democrats also warily supported by the Bush 2 administration came up with the no 20% down mortgage removed. Areas in the ward dramatically changed in demographics. Many of those dwellings sold under those conditions went into disrepair or default.

Originally his ward headquarters and palace was on 51st street just west of Damen Avenue. Today’s palace is just off of Pulaski Road near the Madam Curie high school just off of Archer Avenue miles away.

His ward now consists of areas carved from parts of the 12th (known as Mc Kinley Park and Brighton Park) and parts of the 23rd (known as Archer Heights Garfield Ridge and Clearing) wards Miles from the original 14th That In a former section of the 23rd ward now the 14th ward in the Midway airport area, 2 patrons in a local bar along Archer avenue were heard complaining about rats in their garbage. They felt it was because of the delay in garbage collection. Also heard the same beef about street snow removal. It has also played hell on zoning and because of the disruption of jurisdictions with the administration of city services such as streets and sanitation which the alderman (salary $120.000 plus allocations on local projects) do oversee and have input over.

By.employing this concept of remapping are residents are being denied the representation they should have ? It’s also being used to promote racial division Nebraska is an example in this FR posting

‘It’s a Rag’: Nebraska Lawmaker Compares American Flag to Swastika
Fox News Insider ^ | February 22, 2019 | Fox News Insider

Nebraska State Sen. Ernie Chambers is taking criticism for calling the American flag a “rag” and comparing it to the Nazi swastika.

Chambers (I) made the comments Tuesday as he spoke out against a state bill that would update civics requirements for students.

“I don’t come here for this rag every day, and it’s a rag. That’s all it is to me,” Chambers said in reference to the flag. “When you show a way to persuade Jews to sanctify and worship the swastika, when you show me that I’ll come up here and stand while you all hypocritically pretend that rag is something that it definitely is not.”

Since Nebraska has a unicameral one house legislature.How are those senate districts set up ? How many voters are required to make a district ?How often do they meet,and what’s the length of members term ? It looks like his district is laid out just to include blacks Chicago ward style* which is at the expence of the county, town, or area involved.

Only 370,000 people out of 2.75 Million voted. Some of these Communists were elected by a few hundred votes.

Chicago was chosen by the Soviets as a target for takeover in the early 20’s due to its transportation hub position for the US, the meat slaughterhouse/packing industry (taken over by the Communist Party USA for many decades - David Canter - family ties to Obama according to Canter’s grandson, Marc; Abe Feinglass, CPUSA and Soviet asset - World Peace Council, unions, anti-Vietnam Mobes, etc), Shoeworkers Union - Jack Spiegel, a friend/host of Dr. King - Photo about April 1967, demonstration in Chicago), members of the Chicago Teachers Union - CPUSA - Pappademus et al; Chicago Peace Council - KGB/CPUSA operation; Veterans for Peace leaders CPUSA/suspected Soviet agent Leroy Wolins and A.A. Sammie Rayner; several Alderman/Women; some university professors in Chicago universities; and Morris Childs (Chilovsky), back in the 30’s - 50’s, Moscow’s man running Soviet operations in Chicago/Illinois until he was “turned” by the FBI into becoming “The FBI”s Man in the Kremlin: Operation SOLO”< John Barron, 1995).

And the list goes on with the now powerful Democratic Socialists of America getting members elected to the City Council, school boards, etc. with help from an old ACORN-created Marxist front, the Working Families Party (which is now more maoist in orientation than before);

Also you had the Marxist dominated Progressives for Obama in Chicago, including Tom Hayden, Carl Oglesby, Marilyn Katz (SDS), Paul Booth (SDS), Midwest Academy, and old CP core group of Kushner, Kling, Friedlander, Quentin Young/Milt Cohen, Alice and Lu Palmer, Bill Ayers & Bernadine Dohrn (Weathermen), and the very interesting Soviet operative id. CPUSA leader David Simon Canter (partner in importing Soviet propaganda was Leroy Wolins, id. CP), and Canter’s close ally, Don Rose.

Canter and Rose were significantly responsible for the rise of David Axelrod (as in Obama’s political advisor after being a newspaper reporter in Chicago with Canter’s help), and Canter was the political kingmaker for leftist/Marxist Democrat politicians in Chicago, esp. Mayor Washington.

There were about 10 major Soviet operations centers using the CPUSA organization as its conduit, in the US from the 1920’s through 80’s. They were
* New York City
* Wash. D.C. - largely espionage and political infiltration of reds into Congress and congressional staffs
* Chicago - as an industrial hub of America
* San Francisco and LA, same
* Seattle/Portland as transportation/shipping hubs on the West Coast
* Detroit - manufacturing center, got CPUSA hardcore red Coleman Young elected as a 30 year mayor who ruined the city with his Marxist programs and personal greed
* Madison, Wisc. - center of all kinds of Marxist groups in Wisconsin. Now being replaced by Minneapolis, Minn.

And a lot of these cities are still under Marxist control or are significantly influenced by them - DeBlasio - NY City; Ellison, Minn. AG; Newsome - Gov of California; Most of the mayors of Oakland Ca - Quan, Dellums, and the current one, etc. SF mayors, Minneapolis mayors, Cleveland mayors, Boston mayors (or crooks), Baltimore ex-mayors - O’’Malley & Pugh (now going to jail, along with former mayor Dixon, just getting out of jail); and the fools in Philadelphia, Houston (weird people running that place), the whole damned state of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont, etc.

If the electoral map of the US was changed in colors to reflect where the Marxists are in control or have a lot of power, you’d really see a “Red America” including a couple of smaller black cities in Mississippi and Alabama.

If you don’t think that “democratic socialism” is a threat, just remember what Mark Levin has said about this: “Progressivism is the bastard child of Marxism”,
and David Horowitz writes that “Inside every Progressive is a Totalitarian trying to get out”.

Excellent information and I thank you for it. I’ve long maintained that Detroit was similarly targeted for destruction by the Soviets. They knew it was impossible for them to match our production of tanks and transport vehicles so they set out to destroy the economic base by seeing that Leftists were elected to office.

SALT is state and local taxes. They limited the deduction to $10k starting in 2018. It affects a lot of rich liberals who used to complain about taxes not being high enough, you know, the “tax me more!” bunch. Now they are outraged that their taxes went up.
