Children of LGBT parents can now be blessed or baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, church officials declared in a new policy on Thursday, dramatically reversing a 2015 decision that excluded those children from the rituals until they were 18. The church will also update its handbook for leaders, removing the label of “apostasy” for same-sex marriage.

LDS has added so much junk to the bible tradition that a downfall was inevitable. There may be people in the middle of this mess and confusion who believe on Jesus yet, but they are at a serious disadvantage.

This is sad in a way since LDS used to be a bastion of conservatism. But God’s agenda is more important even than the national agenda. Get the foundation right, then everything that stands on it will get right.

Well, let’s start down the list of unScriptural things with the Catholic church.

1. Prayer to dead saints
2. Belief all Christians are NOT saints
3. Infant baptism
4. Removal of any accountability to/with lay people
5. Priests and bishops that MUST be unmarried
6. Centralized authority instead of separate churches

Shall we get started? It’s an incomplete list, but I look forward to what is yet to come, because the Catholic church does all sorts of things overriding the Bible.
