Personally, I hope she gets a clue, and actually does good. One can hope. And one can pray. Maybe she’ll be surprising. Chicago has been corrupt for as long as I’ve been alive, and much longer, and hopefully she will actually have integrity.

Like Dusty Springfield belted out, “Wishing, and hoping, and praying” ain’t going to do it. This Lightfoot lady has been completely steeped in social and economic liberalism for years. She’ll speak out against corruption but will implement the policies that allow it to thrive. She is another “successful” woman who is setting the example of lesbianism. This is not a good day for Chicago or America.

I'm with you. President Trump's success happened because folks are sick of what the club has done to the nation. THE WORSE are most of the Republican women in the US Senate, House, and Governors. They don't stand up to power, or seem to have a strong conservative moral compass. Perhaps a black gay female will be far enough out of the mainstream to not fall in line with the status quo, and do some good.
