FBI Refuses Records Requests For Emails To CNN On Day Of Roger Stone Raid
The Federalist ^ | April 2, 2019 | Sean Davis

The FBI on Tuesday rejected an open records request from The Federalist for any and all emails sent to or from CNN the day of the pre-dawn raid at the home of Roger Stone.

“Please provide all e-mails sent to or received from any account with a ‘cnn.com’ domain from January 24, 2019 through January 25, 2019,” The Federalist wrote in a Freedom Of Information Act request submitted on the morning of January 25, 2019.

CNN was the only network present at the Fort Lauderdale home of Roger Stone, a former Trump associate who was indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, prior to the arrival of FBI agents dispatched to arrest the bombastic former Nixon aide. The pre-dawn arrival of CNN at what was supposed to be a surprise raid of Stone’s home raised questions about whether the network had been tipped off about the impending FBI arrest of Stone.

No matter what anyone thinks of Roger Stone, he should be pardoned immediately and reimbursed for every penny of the massive legal fees he incurred for the transgression of helping Donald Trump to get elected in 2016.

Mueller knew in 2017 that there was nothing to Hillary’s Russian Collusion hoax but spent millions of dollars in taxpayer money stretching out the investigation to damage Trump. The absurd FBI raid on Stone complete with propaganda coverage from CNN that would have embarrassed Leni Riefenstahl was a national disgrace.

Totally agree that FBI is corrupt. Sorry Hannity corruption is from low to high. You just don’t wait up one day on the 7th floor and now are corrupt. Corruption is the culture of the FBI

Does that mean the source of the single such email on that date to CNN is being investigated?

That would be a legitimate reason to not furnish it. Otherwise, there is a problem that some want to hide.

What if they are investigating that currently. That would be a legit reason to not disclose it.

Not defending, but it is possible the President Trump has told them to pursue this crime.

They know we know the email tipping off CNN must exist.

Therefore, I find it likely that there are OTHER emails to CNN that day (and perhaps every day) from the FBI. Maybe a lot more? What if on a typical day there are dozens of FBI-CNN email communications? Would it surprise anyone if there were?

If you opened that up to any federal agent and allowed them to assist the Marshal’s for something like that, there’d be a line across DC wanting to get inside that building. In the world of federal law enforcement, there are a lot of egos. None bigger than the FBI. And for that, they tend not to be liked very much. And they’re down right hated by real cops and deputy’s all over the country.

Nobody is pursuing crimes by powerful left-wingers. Nobody.

There will be lip service or tweets about it periodically, but there is zero chance that any high-ranking demo-rat (elected, appointed or otherwise) will ever be brought to trial.

I’ve posted this before on here, but probably worthy of being posted again.
A long time back, we had the “distinct privilege” of having to live right next door to one of these “rank & file” FBI SOBs. He was one arrogant POS...a real piece of work. He made sure EVERYBODY in the neighborhood knew who he was and what he did for a living. One morning, I had the dog out back doing her business and he walked up to the fence and said; “Wonder what the poor people are doing this fine morning?” I immediately grabbed my dog, pled the 5th Amendment out loud, and headed to the house. He didn’t think it was funny.....neither did I. FINALLY, the arrogant POS got transferred or something and ended up moving away. It was happy day when they were gone. There is no love loss on this end for the FBI.

“the FBI claimed that the request for emails to and from a specific domain sent or received on two specific dates was “overly broad,” did not provide “enough detail to enable personnel to locate” the records, and sought information in “vague and undefined terms.” The FBI further claimed that the underlying request itself, which specified both the date and the sender’s or recipient’s email domain, did not comply with federal regulations regarding requests for information made under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).”

You are certainly spot on about the fact that they are scum. I just wonder if now the Federalist will go into court and do as Judicial Watch does and compel the FBI to give up the documents requested?
