Collusion, obviously.

Now why would the US be selling F-35’s to Turkey in the first place?!?!?

Time to eject Turkey from NATO. The risks now outweigh the advantages.

This was a stoppage of sending spare parts. When and by whom were the original F-35s sold? Glad to see them cracking down on Erdowan. Of course, he may now try to buy the F-35 equivalent from Russia, which we may also not like unless we prefer to make Putin happy.

Turkey was part of the Joint Strike Fighter Program, way back in the 1990s. I wonder if there are public records of what the member nations donated to the R&D effort? I've seen some numbers from the U.K. and Canada, but never for the other members. Somehow I doubt that the Turks contributed much.
Looking back now, it seems like an ill-conceived part of the post-Cold War "victory lap"... procurement bureaucrats gone mad.

The spare parts have to be in place before the aircraft are delivered. Turkey’s F-35s are currently in Texas and their pilots and support crews are training on them in anticipation of their transfer to Turkey.

Now why would the US be selling F-35s to Turkey in the first place?!?!? Pre-Erdogan and the Islamic Fundamentalist tilt..., Turkey was a valued NATO member. Now, after purging thousands of the military who were secular and Western oriented..., it is but the proverbial "Camel's Nose Under the NATO Tent"

The Russians would love to test the S-400 detection against the F-35.
If detected with regularity, one helluva advertising coup to tell other countries interested in the S-400 and countering the US or allies.

The real question is why a NATO “ally” buy a Russian air defense system? Why are they still in NATO?

LOL!
Russia is just China’s henchman.
China is ten times richer than Russia and Putin bows to it’s call.
Turkey sees profit, just like Russia and Iran, in answering China’s beck.
And they’re partly right to do so.

Collusion - YES!
That and Turkey has a destiny with Russia, Iran, Libya and Sudan via Ezekiel 37 & 38 very very soon.
On the mountains of Israel they will fall and the vultures will devour them (Ezekiel 39).
