Dick’s Sporting Goods took a loss of an estimated $150 million in sales last year after the company heavily restricted firearm purchases and began advocating for gun control.
The company made various policy changes after a school shooting in Parkland, Florida, left 17 dead. It announced it would no longer sell modern sporting rifles or high-capacity magazines and increased the purchase age for all firearms to 21.
Dick’s also hired anti-gun lobbyists to promote gun restriction legislation, despite saying it still supports the Second Amendment.
“The system does not work,” said Edward Stack, Dick’s CEO. “It’s important that when you know there’s something that’s not working, and it’s to the detriment of the public, you have to stand up.”

How stupid CEO’s and their boards have destroyed or seriously maimed their companies by playing the Social Justice Warrior game.
There are plenty of stupid CEO dicks ruining their companies. Dicks is a prime example.
There will be many more CEO dick’s to maim or to close their doors.
When more of President Trump’s Deploreables realize boycotting companies like Dick’s/the NFL is good for our country, our families and President Trump:
There will be more CEO dicks targeted for serious losses of $’s in their markets by us and our allies.
These CEO dicks fund and support enemies like Frau Mueller and their thugs.
When they do, our boycotts will cost them severely. Good companies will avoid hiring SJW dicks to be their CEO’s.
Play stupid games... Lose Lots of Money.
We did it to KMart in the 90s, and we’ll do it to anyone in this day and age as well.
We don’t only buy guns. We buy sporting goods for Little League teams in bulk, fishing gear, boats, clothing, shoes and boots...
And we can buy them elsewhere, from Americans who APPRECIATE the rights that other Americans DIED to protect.

what’s completely lost on this dumbarse, and what’s a mind-blowing irony, is that the buycott failed and the boycott will go on forever .. I STILL won’t buy Sargento cheese (and never will), and will never buy a P&G product as long as there’s a good alternative ...
Would have preferred that it drove them completely out of business... However we’ll take joy in what ever richly-deserved financial pain they endure...
I would have to drive by a Palmetto State Armory, a Sportsman’s Warehouse and am Academy to get to Dick’s. Why the cuss would I?

not to mention the lost sales from those who aren’t buying anything at all now due to the boycott, even if they weren’t going there to buy firearms ..

Thriving in NJ, the “soccer mom” strategy seems to have paid off.
Or it could be the lack of local sports equipment retailers, Sports Authority closing, the fact that it’s NJ and someone said the “G” word, etc..
I stopped shopping there and will not go back...
