My contention with the Northeast Conservative is not that none of them actually are.
They are when they compare to others in their state, but when they leave these states they infiltrate conservative discussions and groups with their lies... only to say things like “Oh, I’m a conservative but Trump has lied...” or “I believe in the second amendment but we don’t need to die on the wire over a black gun”
Be wary the NE “but” conservative.

I’m pretty sure that they will phrase it oddly and it will be full of holes.. such as “My M16 is an antique firearm”.
The point is not to create good legislation. That ship sailed decades ago. Now the point is to whittle down the positive opinions of guns. Make the gun owner look stupid, troublesome and persona-non-grata.
Make anti gunners look cool, and gun owners look like morons. Solve the gun issue the same way they reduced the number of smokers.

That’s pretty much what happened in Canada when they tried it. Many Leftist politicians found themselves suddenly “owning” hundreds of firearms. It was such a mess that it was shut down a few years back.
But not until millions and millions of Canadian dollars were wasted.
