President Donald Trump railed against special counsel Robert Mueller's now-completed investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election on Wednesday, calling it an "attempted takeover of our government."

"We can never allow this treasonous, these treasonous acts to happen to another President," Trump told Fox News' Sean Hannity, in his first TV interview since Attorney General William Barr summarized the principal findings of Mueller's report in a memo to Congress on Sunday.

This was an attempted takeover of our government, of our country, an illegal takeover," Trump said. "If it were the other way around, where I was doing it to President Obama or a Democrat, it would be virtually the maximum sentence that you can find."

There are two schools of thought about globalism (among those who oppose it).

One would say that it is a misguided utopian internationalist ideology that fails to take into account realities of the world around us and attempts to force sovereign nations to adopt a radical socialist agenda concocted at the United Nations and sustained in various countries by their local globalist elites.

The other would say that while all of the above is no doubt true, globalism is a cartel of powerful people who need wealth and power to fuel their Satanic lifestyles including widespread clandestine sexual exploitation of children.

I suspect there is some truth to option (b) but a larger community of globalists who don’t indulge in any of that more bizarre behavior. It would be good to investigate and find out what the scale of the exploitation turns out to be. Any small amount is of course too much.
