Jimmy Carter Gets New Title: Oldest Living Former President

March 21, 2019, marks yet another milestone. While it is not his birthday, Carter becomes the oldest living former president in United States history.At the age of 94 years and 172 days, he passes George H.W. Bush, who was 94 years, 171 days when he died last November.

Jimmy Cater was a not a good Governor nor President. The fact he left the President’s office over $1.5 million in debt says he was not a great politician lining his pockets either. I disagreed with him over policy direction and especially foreign policy.

He was a very nice man in person, I knew him as Governor and met him after his time as President. After he was President and still living in Plains he would go door to door with the pastor of his church asking people to attend on Sundays. Of course the media never covered this part of his life.

Well, good for him - he was bad president, and he's been a worse ex-president, displaying a lot of public, sour-grapes pettiness and showing a willingness to engage with foreign governments to undermine Republican presidents. But on a personal level, he seems like a very decent man - I've always admired his Habitat for Humanity work.

Misguided and stubborn, but well-intentioned, I guess. I hope he has many more years to enjoy in peace with his family and friends.

He was a petty, despicable President. Also a petty despicable man. He gave us the Iranian mullahs, certified Hugo Chavez’s sham elections and was BFF with Castro.

Forget that piece of human Garbage’s facade of being some sort of Christian. He never met a despot he didn’t love.

Carter was/is a puke. His foreign and domestic policies were horrible (undercutting the Shah and giving us today’s Iran problem) 0and he appointed some of the most god awful judges.
