Good. They better fight it effectively. There is a lot at stake.

I honestly think the majority of the country would be against it.

It’s like dems are BEGGING Independents to not vote for them.

Haven’t talked to anyone of any stripe that thought it was a good idea.

If the proposal makes it to some preliminary vote for approval, it’ll be interesting to see how many of the usual gang of Republican idiots vote against it...

Democrats truly are the party of scum. This nation saved the world more than once, and they want to ‘remake’ it, ‘transform it’, ‘reform it’, etc. It is heartbreaking, in the deepest conception of that term. So many young hearts stopped beating as the brains and bodies that they pumped blood to were killed in the genesis and defense of this nation. For what? So that clueless narcissistic people could throw it all away? If that’s the way it’s going, then it is too bad the heroes didn’t walk away from their sacrifices and just decide to live.

The big push is on........open borders, complete media takeover, sixteen year olds voting, doing away with the electoral college, added seats to the Supreme Court, infanticide, support of Muslim terrorists in the house, expanded sanctuary cities........am I forgetting something?

Trump ought to send 6 conservative SC nominees to the Senate. There would be such outcry that the House and Senate would pass legislation permanently fixing it a 9. Trump signs it and wins this argument.

this, and people like Elizabeth Warren signing onto abolition of the Electoral College, are the reason I have some serious doubts as to whether the timing is right for a CConvention.

People are not ‘normal’ right now. Whether it’s Russian or Iranian or Mexican or Chinese money, people are just not ‘right’ in the head.

I a rhetorical sense it’s fine to fight fire with fire. But where does it end?

Trump packs the court, and then the next commie adds enough to flip it his way, and then the next adds more to flip it back. Where does it end?

Better to make the point that elections have consequences and the left needs to fight their battles at the ballot box, not in the courts.

Republican lawmakers announced Tuesday that they would be introducing a constitutional amendment

Should have done this and killed all of the leftist programs, bureaus, and organizations when they had the fricking majority. Typical gutless, reactionary Republicans.

Doubt that such a measure would pass either the House or Senate with required 2/3rds majority. I doubt it would even pass in the House with a simple majority. Then there are the states required to ratify it—13 states can block an amendment. Right now there are 18 states where both houses are controlled by Democrats, more than enough to block any such amendment.

All the Dems need to pack the court is to gain control of the Senate and the Presidency and keep control of the House. Changing the law only requires simple majorities in both houses and the President’s signature. You can be sure that Senate rules on the 60-vote filibuster would be changed to get this to happen.

We need to keep this from happening.

Only if the extra judges get to be initially confirmed by Trump.

Adding 6 young judges would make it 11-4.

No they shouldn’t fight it at all. They ought to add them right now, while Trump can appoint them all.

Some Dhimmicraps are talking up a mandatory retirement age for justices, which is not constitutional. My wife and I noted that it hurts them. Ginsburg and Breyer are in their 80s and would have to retire. Depending on where you set the age, it might cost us Justice Thomas, but that’s still two of theirs and no more than one of ours. And Trump is still president.

Bring it on. We’ll take two more seats. Who do you want?

The next time there is a democrat president and a democrat controlled congress the democrats will enact a court packing scheme. Then the next time there is a Republican president and a Republican controlled congress the Republicans will retaliate with their own court packing scheme. Eventually there will be more Supreme Court Justices than there are congresscritters.
