APPLETON, Wis. Voters who supported Barack Obama in 2012 and then Donald Trump in 2016 are sick of Trump, saying in a focus group here that they're getting tired of his "lies" and the way he treats people.
Why it matters: Trump barely won Wisconsin, where he got roughly 22,000 more votes than Hillary Clinton, and these swing voters were decisive. If he's losing them, it will be harder to win the state again with just his base supporters.
Show less This was the biggest takeaway from the focus group of swing voters I watched last week, conducted by the research firms Engagious and Focus Pointe Global. The group included eight Obama/Trump voters and four Mitt Romney/Hillary Clinton voters.

First of all, I view this as propaganda.
Second, we saw this exact same thing with Bush. The corrupt MSM hounded and hounded Bush every single day. Every single day there was a cacophony of screaming about chimpy Bush, calling fo0r his assassination, etc. People get to the point where they just need the screeching to stop.
It’s the same thing with Trump every. single. day. the corrupt MSM hounds Trump as a liar, a racist, responsible for New Zealand, responsible for every malady and unpleasantness known to man. The corrupt MSM knows exactly what they are doing, and that’s the point, to drive down Trumps favorable and to drive up his unfavorable to un-elect him.
When the hot war comes, the MSM goes first.
Axios means bullshiiite in some foreign language. But hey they’ll keep trying.
OH, MI, PA, WI, MN, even Missouri will be closer in 2020.
Commie media making up BS again..they are SO terrified Trump will win re-election again because all of their candidates are DISASTERS
Trump won because he took Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. He has to take two out of three and keep the other states he took in 2016 in order to be re-elected. If he only takes one of the three, Pennsylvania for example, then he has to pick off Nevada or Colorado or Minnesota. Doable, but not as easy as keeping what he had.
his “lies” and the way he treats people.
As relayed and popularized by the MSN. WI is a swing state - 46-49. And the Dems are pulling out all stops to retake the state starting with getting rid of Walker. Now they are slandering the Conservative supreme court candidate to retake the court and undo eight years of hard work, returning WI back to a high tax state faced with bankruptcy.
At the same time Eric Holder is kicking off his campaign to retake the state supreme court, he is pushing with Evers to redistrict Republicans into an minority voting community, - before moving on to ALL other states, ensuring no Republican ever gets elected ever again.

You seem so very “concerned.” You also seem to post a lot of these “concerning” articles.
Maybe.
But the dems are "worried" enough to put their convention there in 2020.
That's telling.
“...nd these swing voters were decisive. If he’s losing them, it will be harder to win the state again...”
I wish I had a job sitting around and stating the obvious.
Reminds me of the ESPN post-game shows where some genius inevitably sums up all the analysis with “At the end of the day, team X won because they just scored more points.”
What a bunch of buffoons “journalists” have become.
Last year the Democrats took the governorship and all the state leadership races, kept the Senate seat, kept all their house seats. What pocket book issue caused that?
Yeah well, when you Brag about bring in “Lots” of H1-B1s so corporations can make “More Profits”., yeah, I can see Blue-Collar workers feeling Betrayed.
Axios.
They’ll likely be pretty tired of Tony Evers and Democrat rule about the time the election rolls around. Plus half or more of ‘em will be pissed that their candidate didn’t get the nomination instead of Kamala.
Yes it is concerning because this is not 1984 or 1988. There will be no landslide. Expect a long election night evening. Expect a 2000 or 2004.
. The group included eight Obama/Trump voters and four Mitt Romney/Hillary Clinton voters
Well, that certainly is an appropriate sample size, eh?
So a “journalist” has no questioning skills, skepticism, technical knowledge of statistics, math, and logic?
Good grief, I’d fire some SOB who brought this crap of a “news article” to my desk
yeah, Walker’s demise was going to be my point, also.
Trump re-election is going to be difficult, friends.
It just is.
The numbers are just tough.
Now, if he gets a good solid surge nationwide, then he will have a much better shot and his state-by-state implementation can move forward systematically.
But the coming Biden-Beto ticket is just going to be difficult to beat.
According to the excerpt, 12.
If Axios says so ....
Donald Trump will never be the Republican nominee.
Only ¡YEB! can defeat Hillary.
Same drum beat, same musicians, same accuracy.
