A new study reveals the most intolerant county in America is not Rabun County in northeastern Georgia, where the film “Deliverance” was shot.
“Nor was it Albany County, Wyoming, where Matthew Shepard was killed. And it was not Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, where Emmett Till was lynched more than a half-century ago,” explained a report by the Foundation for Economic Education.
It’s Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and its mostly white population of just under 800,000 that includes the heart of the Boston-Cambridge-Newton region.
“Politically, Suffolk County is about as progressive as America gets. The county’s three congressional districts – the 5th, 7th, and 8th – are represented by progressive Democrats: Rep. Katherine Clark, Rep. Ayanna Soyini Pressley, and Rep. Stephen Lynch. Just 5 percent of county residents identify as Republican. No GOP presidential candidate has claimed Suffolk County since Calvin Coolidge – in 1924,” FEE said.
It cited the survey commissioned by the Atlantic to assess the nation’s tolerance level.
“In this part of the country, nine out of every 10 couples appear to share the same partisan leaning. … Eight out of every 10 neighborhoods are political homogeneous. This means that people in Boston may have fewer ‘cross-cutting relationships,’ as researchers put it. It is a very urban county with a relatively high education level. All these things tend to correlate with partisan prejudice.”
“Most people, The Atlantic notes, discriminate against the political opposition explicitly and implicitly. We do this in whom we hire, date, and marry. We make snap judgments about people’s patriotism, compassion, and intelligence,” FEE said.
Some Americans, the results show, “are more inclined toward this than others.”
“The makeup of Suffolk County fits closely with what researchers identified as America’s most politically intolerant bunch: ‘woke white liberals.'”

I grew up and spent my first 35 years up there in Boston. Here’s their dirty little secret. For all their left wing progressivism, all their screaming to the rest of us on how to live, as a group, they are THE MOST RACIST people in America.
Yes, the same people who tell us we are racist, wouldn’t be caught dead with a black man or a Hispanic. They get away with it because most of them live in 99.99% white communities.
It’s like being called a racist by someone who lives in Vermont, most of whom have never been within 100 yards of a minority their whole life.
Elizabeth Warren’s community actively worked behind the scenes to keep Blacks out of their neighborhoods. Some of the people who did it included the Editor of the Boston Globe, Judge Garrity (the Federal Judge who gave us bussing) and Julia Child, yes that Julia Child!

Yep, you nailed it. That's why they are all in the party of the KKK, the party that stood in schoolhouse doors blocking black children from entering (they resisted desegregation in Boston more than anyone did in the south), the party of soft bigotry of low expectations. Democrats are the original racists and remain so.
The resistance to school busing in Boston was mostly among blue collar Irish Americans who could not afford private or parochial schools or to move to the mostly white suburbs that were inhabited by liberals, some of whom, like Judge Garrity, who ordered the desegregation, were themselves of Irish descent.
Don't forget Lawrence Tribe (yes, the law professor from Harvard) who signed the petition to keep the minority school out of Cambridge (which incidentally is in Middlesex County, not Suffolk). When called on it, his "defense" was, "Well, I signed it, but I didn't read it."
I’ve been telling this for years when it would come up in conversation...lived many years in the urban NorthEast (including Bahstin), intentionally moved to a 99.99% non-white country and now decades in the “deep south”...the most racist place we ever lived was, indeed, Boston.
