Politically, Suffolk County is about as progressive as America gets

Can we please make some attempt to reclaim the word "progressive"? Liberals have turned it into a synonym for socialism and there's no progress to be found in the failed policies of socialism - Stalin, Mao, Castro and the millions of the corpses they created can attest to that.

Lenin used the term “progressive “ because it came across as more palatable a word than “Marxism” or “Communism” in the Communists’ campaigns of massive brainwashing in the quest for world domination.

For example:
