FULL TITLE: Lawyer for Covington Catholic teen Nick Sandmann releases video slamming CNN, WaPo, as lawsuits proceed (Watch)
L. Lin Wood, the lawyer for Covington, Ky., Catholic high school teen Nick Sandmann, has released a damning video as evidence in a pair of lawsuits against CNN and The Washington Post, condemning both for their reckless lies about his client.
Earlier this week, the teens legal team filed a $275 million lawsuit against CNN over its alleged false attacks the Left-wing anti-Trump network (and other media) made against him in January.
Todd McMurtry, one of Sandmanns lawyers, said on Fox News Tuesday: It is a significant lawsuit seeking $75 million in compensatory damages and $200 million in punitive damages from CNN.
Earlier, the legal team filed a $250 million suit against the Washington Post.
...
Despite raw video debunking the false narrative, the Post and CNN doubled down on their reckless lies, it continues. Lies that will forever haunt and endanger the life of an innocent young man. Lies that further divided our nation.
How long will we allow these media giants to tear at the fabric of our lives to further their own agendas? Will they ever be held accountable? Yes, they will, the video notes further.
Nicholas Sandman has taken a stand for himself and for you by filing major lawsuits against CNN and the Washington Post. Nicholas and his legal team will not be stopped until these Goliath corporations are held accountable for their lack of journalistic integrity. Until then, no ones reputation is safe.

The Sandmann cometh...
Boy, that’s a great video.
Why would a lawyer release such a video to the public? Why not save his efforts for the trial?
BUMP and share.
Tell me, counselor, are you saying he cannot present the same video evidence at trial?
Video won’t play for me. Anyone else having problems? Today on youtube I was unable to access content from Forgotten Weapons, Church Militant or daily wire. Am able to play content on the channels of Fraser Cain and Isaac Arthur.
Sue. Don’t release videos.
That videos been out for a month or so.
I’m not a counselor. He could. Why involve the public before going to court?
Why?
Because liberal elite thugs in the media are after all of us - after our children - after our freedom. They didn't just go after an innocent 16 year old being bullied by thugs - they went after every person who would dare to wear a MAGA hat in public. After every person who felt they had a right to express political feelings different than corrupt liberal elites.
The Washington Post sent a message that day to every thug who dreams of shutting down speech for conservatives - the message was, "thug away on kids, thug away on anyone daring to wear a MEGA Hat because WE'RE backing you'...
He’s filed lawsuits against WaPo and CNN.
He’s been on the talk shows saying he’s going to sue anybody else who doesn’t publicly retract their slander.
The goal is to make sure this never happens again, and give Sandman a few hundred million dollars.
Well now, I appreciate your sentiment but for the time being he has taken a very large bite that will take a great while to chew.
I view his efforts from afar as taking on AT&T, one of the largest of American corporations. AT&T has extremely deep pockets. The lawyer has painted them into a corner and there is no escape without getting messy feet. I expect they pass out Tums at the opening of every board meeting.
Although I expect you have read it, if not here is the complaint. For those of us who are constantly pissed off by CNN, it is extremely enjoyable reading. Every Freeper should savor every page, every word.

To defend Sandman’s reputation.
Or do you believe that to be unimportant?
Is this a new video - or the one that was out a few weeks back?
T/Y for the link.
His reputation is important. A winning court case would be the first step to doing that. The court of public opinion is important also.
My questions are merely about if and how releasing a video to the public helps the court case. Is managing public opinion helpful to the case? Does it typically precede the court case? Is this what lawyers are typically hired to do?
Beautiful....every single word.
My only problem with these lawsuits is I think the Individuals on CNN and WaPo should be held PERSONALLY LIABLE also. Nothing would please me more than seeing Jim Acosta sleeping on the Sidewalk on Obama Row in Los Angeles.
