Sen. Ted Cruz offered support for Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Tuesday after her ads were taken off Facebook.
The 2020 Democratic presidential contender had called for the breakup of big tech companies, including Facebook, in the ads.

First time Ive ever retweeted @ewarren But shes rightBig Tech has way too much power to silence Free Speech. They shouldnt be censoring Warren, or anybody else. A serious threat to our democracy. https://t.co/VoesOKSqhA— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) March 12, 2019
Curious why I think FB has too much power? Let's start with their ability to shut down a debate over whether FB has too much power. Thanks for restoring my posts. But I want a social media marketplace that isn't dominated by a single censor. #BreakUpBigTech https://t.co/UPS6dozOxn— Elizabeth Warren (@ewarren) March 11, 2019
FaceBook, Twitter and YouTube control content. If you are a conservative and they shut you down, you are essentially exiled without a voice.
Ted can support Warren on breaking up FB. But he is not sure he can support Trump on building the wall with the NEA. Hmmmmm.
That’s right. She should be allowed to post. Restore her drivel rights.
Yep. She and he are right. I used to think something better can just come along, but they have too much control and leverage their control to keep control. They need to be broken up.
Facebook, Amazon, and Google shill 24/7 for them.
Stoopid is as Stoopid does.
Even a blind dog can sniff out a bucket of swill.
I was looking forward to more of her Pow-Wow Chow, too - with her kitchen fireside chats.
Rafael wants Pocahontas to say nice things about him leading up to the Republican primaries.
I smell the “consistent conservative” Cruzbots in the wings here, waiting for their cue.
Now squaw wear conservative moccasins.
If Warren was just as concerned about CONSERVATIVES being banned from twitter, facebook, etc than maybe we can get something accomplished. Big Tech has the power to silence anyone they disagree with, just look at twitter, what Laura Loomer got banned for, absolutely ridiculous..yet Louis Farrakhan who referred to Jews as termites can still tweet..you can be Anti Jew and have a twitter account, but say ANYTHING considered anti islam and get banned
FB should be shut down, but her post was an ad. They removed the ad because she used the FB logo without permission.
Actually if this compromise goes through in the senate it’s the best thing to have happen for the constitution in a long time.
They won’t vote against the emergency for the wall and trump will sign a bill restricting presidents from using emergency powers in the future. So a rat democrat can’t declare global warming an emergency and spend money on it.
All true; my main point was about her drivel rights.
They need to be given a choice: (1) Control content, thus be fully liable for content, or (2) Do not control content, thus, providing a service without ownership or responsibility for content. I don’t think they can do both.
Yeah.
Slimy bugger.
I would not worry about what “cruzbots” are planning, it’s more likely to be a solid eight years from 2025 to 2032 to carry on the good work started by the current president.
I would hope that “trumpbots” would return the favor at that time.
But I doubt that Cruz would seriously think about the 2020 primaries unless President Trump indicated he was not seeking a second term.
She is white and too dumb to know that her place on the grievance privilege pyramid is now lower than Kleenex Harris and Cryin’ Corey...
Time to step aside, old white lady. Watch the dems closely. They’ll let you know what their plans are for the country by what they do to each other.
They are going to end up having to pass a law defining what is a public forum and what rights posters have on one.
I can see why Facebook would ban ads calling for the breakup of Facebook. Duh.
And it can be argued that Facebook is a private forum run by a private corporation. So until government puts definitions around it, I don’t see where Warren actually has any “rights” in this matter.
